Took nearly 3 months to receive an exterior and interior sign. Upon moving offices I found out they fixated the sign in a permanent manner, the only way to remove the sign was by taking a crow bar. His own staff took this approach. It damaged of course and he charges me every bit to fix it up without any flexibility. The sign was made of what appeared to be a plastic foam material so it was pretty weak, raises questions about the quality.. decent looking sign. Poor experience from beginning to end.

DON'T waste your time with this guy Joe Gerard owner. Their price was much higher, they would not give a completion date (we were asking for it by 21 days...really) and he has an Egotistical 'I am so great' attitude. Said he had been in business 40 years and doing pretty darn well....I believe the tides are about to change Joe. Got the sign done for less, in less than 10 days and it is amazing. Go Home Joe. Nobody likes an RUDE EGO-Maniac!

My experience with Gerard Signs and Joe was terrific. I like to support locally owned family businesses since we have one ourselves. We had our logo and concept in mind. Joe made some great suggestions. The end results speak for themselves. Work was completed on time as promised. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS GUYS !!!!! I used this guys in the pass for my vehicles signs and the quality of the work is really not all there, anyway i went back there to support a local business i wanted to get my sign re-Done, very simple small sign, it took them 1 week to get back to me and only because i call them to check on the status of the job!!!!! then Joe the owner promised me it was going to get done that same day, I did not get anything from Joe and i just didn't want to bother him any more so i waited till next week.

Wanted to keep business in Costa Mesa and have had excellent experiences with Gerard, even if we might have to pay a little more. That was my thought, but the came in way under budget and provided us with an exceptional sign. You can get more buying local and this long established local business proves just that. I worked for this amazing sign company 30 years ago. I have since worked with many other sign companies thru out Southern California. Joe Gerard Signs is by far the Very Best. Custom signs and banner experts! Thank you thank you! My new business was in dire need of help with custom business signs and other advertising on our building. Gerard Signs, was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They came up from their shop in Orange County and created and installed beautiful custom signs for our building, as well as window advertising in our lobby and wonderful banners in our parking lot.
