Don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do for you! Decent space to live for college students or a couple. Clean and updated. Loud on some of the nights, but other tenants always quieted down if we asked.
Yes, if the lease buy-out fee has been paid. A 60-day notice is required before vacating your apartment, and the lease buy-out fee is one and a half times the rent amount. Please make sure that you reference your signed lease agreement and confirm policies with your Property Manager as there could be unique circumstances.

We've just moved in to our apartment at Mountaineer, and throughout the process Zoe was responsive, quick, and professional! She happily explained every tiny, nitpicky question we had, from the exact location of the laundry facilities based on our unit to explaining the specific utility websites and procedures that would be necessary. I'm a very detail oriented person, so I really appreciated all of her comprehensive answers! I'm also a fan of the fact that Zoe supplied us the exact floor plan, making it easier to envision for moving.

Mountaineer Village is one of the most affordable and quality apartment complexes in Gunnison. It is the only one that isn't overpriced for meh living arrangements or affordable but squalid. The three bedroom I am in is a great space.
The management is wonderful and responsive. Maintenance is often there to take care of issues within the day of reporting. If it is an emergency, they are over almost immediately. Everyone is friendly and wants to make sure the residents are happy above all.
This is the closest apartments to the Western campus. Great for walking to class if you can't live on campus

Predjudiced. They ban all types of Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, and any mix of those breeds. From the rental application, I quote, "We reserve the right to deny any pet application based on the breed, size, and behavior of the animal." If this just specified behavior, it would be justified. As it is, they discriminate.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY, they are easily the most unprofessional, dishonest, unloyal, disorganized establishment I have ever had to deal with. Even giving them one star does not seem fit. Despite his immature teenage boy attitude, the little office aid does not care about anything or anyone what so ever and conveys very well the overall mission of the apartment complex to only be out to make money. The only reason they get away with acting like this is because people are desperate for housing in gunnison. But regardless, do not rent from Mountaineer village, it is a glorified trailer
