Members can take advantage of a streamlined application by signing in to their Online Banking account, then choosing a loan type from the "Explore Products" menu. You can complete an online loan application now, then apply for membership prior to finalizing your loan. You'll need to provide personal and income information, and details on the type of loan you want.
Becoming a member is the first step to taking advantage of the benefits RBFCU provides. There are more than 3,500 ways to qualify for membership and become part of the credit union, including where you live, work, worship or attend school. Been a member for years and even recruited family and friends and I'm absolutely disgusted with their customer service now. Garbage bank that couldn't care less about their members. In the process of closing 6 accts and paying off my car that is financed through them. Take your money where your loyalty will be valued.

You don't answer your phone!!!! How can I set up my debit card if you don't answer your phone!!! Not impressed a real bad start to banking with you!!! My wife opened a joint account and guess what the card you sent me isn't on the account and you won't answer your phone. I'm shreddlong the card and not putting a penny into the account

Been with them for years. Went to branch once to open up a savings account for my new baby. Despite trying to call the branch (you cannot call them directly) I reached the 1800 number who told me I could just walk in and open the account. I went in and they told me I really needed to schedule an appointment to open an account. She said she would see if someone could help me. I did get the account opened. First issue I had. They cannot seem to update our mailing address for ONE whole year despite at least a dozen attempts. I was told they were contacting their IT department but no resolve. They

I've been a member of RBFCU for years now and have had nothing but good things to say but not anymore. I closed one of my checking accounts with yall weeks ago (and I know this for a fact because I was on hold for 1.5 hours before I actually got to speak with someone) and surprise there was a $0.28 credit to my account last week which opened the checking account back up without my knowledge or permission. There was then some unauthorized transactions that put the account in the negative (there was no money in it because the damn account was CLOSED) and so I got hit with insuffiencent fund

Have been a member one week.
Not a sister branch so I needed an account if I wanted more than ATM access. Took me 3 days to get ATM card because they don't issue them there, no the spot.
Went back to branch because I had trouble with card not working. Was told I had to call 800 number because they can't reset PIN inside the branch!
Withdrew my funds. Checking out Travis County Credit Union

I have been a loyal member of RBFCU for about 10 years I have never not once overdrafted on my account. I made a mistake of transferring my savings into my money market not knowing that it wouldn't cover any overdraft fees. RBFCU let me overdraft 19 times without a text call email or letter when I finally caught onto the charges I went into a branch they told me they could not refund me not even one of the overdraft fees I called and spoke to two employees and three different managers who also said there was nothing that they could do. I have more than enough money in 2 other accounts to cover

I'd like to thank Ms. Khady who worked over the phone with me and my husband for hours. She even stayed late.

I applied for a vehicle loan over the phone a couple of weeks ago. When finalizing the loan at the dealership, I was disconnected and the representative never called back. When I phoned in again Ms. Khady was my representative. I told her what happened. She looked in the notes and took it from there. It was Saturday so she didn't want to hang up until she knew she had done everything in her power to make sure we got everything processed for our car.

I opened my account with RBFCU about 4 years ago to get away from Wells Fargo and into a credit union for a more personable banking experience versus a big corporate conglomerate. All has been well until now. I very rarely have had to call customer service nor do I very rarely have to go into one of their banking locations. I manage to do everything electronically through debit card means or ACH transactions. On Tuesday I requested Synchrony Bank to transfer 100K out of one of my accounts with RBFCU but somehow requested it out of my savings and not my checking where the bulk of my money was currently

Terrible... the worst experience I've ever had! 
Have applied for a land purchase loan on June 18th (Friday), but they received my application on June 21st (Monday), which is fine. I expected to get a pre-approved letter in about 2-3... okey, 5 days, which is normal for other banks. 
All the documents I've been asked to upload were uploaded once I got an access to a borrower portal. At the end of the week (Friday 25th) I called the assigned loan officer (Christina Ha) and left her a voice mail and also sent an Email to her with a friendly reminder that I do exist and am waiting for

We used RBFCU to finance a vehicle once due to low rates and the process was relatively painless. As such, when they continued to spam me with credit card offers, I finally took a look and decided the rate was good enough to go ahead and apply. Mind you, I don't apply for unsecured credit, nor do I generally need to, but I was looking for a good cash back option for daily purchases.

We have a perfect payment history going back 30 years with exceptional credit scores well above 800. I meticulously watch our credit like a hawk and do what I can to keep our scores high. RBFCU did a hard pull

I have had nothing but issues with this bank for several years. I came to write a review to share my experiences, but now I see... I should have looked because everyone else already did. The MOST atrocious bank I've ever been with. Maybe one good employee in the entire company.

They should get bought out.

I have been treated with nothing but top notch customer service since I joined RBFCU in Corpus Christi. So far I have had no issues with them. They go above and beyond the call to resolve any questions that I might have or problems I might encounter. I plan to stay with them a very long time.

This credit union is just like any other bank, no matter how well you bank with them and even if you never give them any issues as far being charged late fees. When you come to them with an issue that you have, your information doesn’t add up theirs (go figure) and they consider that a valid reason to charge you fees.

If you're a member of the armed forces get a different bank, these people will not fund a vehicle loan outside their little bubble of the great state of Texas, they insist the dealership register the vehicle first before they send payment?!... It took them a week to figure this out. They finally tell me today that it's a no-go because "they do not do business with the dealer". Total incompetence, and lack of work knowledge. Oh and if they tell you they'll get back to you later that day or in a few hours, they won't. No stars, great job guys!

I cashapp 500$ out of my account every single month, they randomly decide that a few occasions are "fraudulent" then even after i inform them that they aren't they freeze my card. I am sick of this happening, this bank is constantly screwing up my accounts.

When I joined this credit union there was a local number on the website in order to call the Georgetown branch and now there is a 1-800 number with a wait time each time I've phoned. AND- the G branch is still fully closed (without an appointment; however, no appointments were available when I called)!!! Moving my money.

So upset with my chat rep maria terrible terrible service refused to answer a simple question that I had . Said she was not going to answer it because it was tailored to one of my missing accounts .
I also feel she mocked me because I said the word general and choose to correct me 3 times saying it was not general . Closing my account the same day they open up ! Been with RBFCU FOR 9 years they have went down hill. My mom closed the account with them last month and now me and my husband are both closing our accounts next week so unhappy I posted the reps responses on Facebook I need to save people

So I had bad experience with both rep on the phone and in office plus manager due to me trying to check in a money order that I lost a while back had me go to the branch keep in mind I live in a Rural area everything around me is 20 to 30 minutes drive the rep said to go at the branch in which I told her I was going to cash in the MO arrive the teller said I couldn't cash it in and that there was no note on my aacount when I told the rep on the phone to put everything in the notes was not put in will dedinately not recommend ....SMH

The Georgetown location does not have full service drive-thru's. It's kind of inconvenient, as basic depositing/withdrawals are doable, but anything else you have to go inside. And now appointments are required to go into the CU. We've been with RBFCU a long time, and we like them as a CU, this review is based on this location and its lack of function.

Their call center service is horrible I was charged 3 courtesy pay fees that are $24 each totaling in $72 they took from my account. When I called back to explain that the app didn't show any pending transactions they didn't care and brushed me off.the 2 reps on the line one of which was a supervisor was very rude. And when i asked about closing the account thw supervisor scoffed before giving me the info. Never banking with them again .

Horrible Manager, Supervisor & Regional Vice President! I went in to talk to someone but the Supervisor demanded to see my ID before he would sign me in. What?! I just had a question.
He was not going to see anything on my account. If so, I would have gladly given my ID. I felt this Supervisor guy had an ego default by the way he treated me. He told me, " We need to know who goes into a room with their employee!!" Wow! I have been having problems getting my tax refund from everywhere in Georgetown, EXCEPT here, i came in they were very friendly and mathew the teller jumped right on it to help me get my cash. I am very happy and satisfied, check them out!
