Loesche is an owner-managed, export-oriented company, which was founded in Berlin in 1906. Today, the company operates from its head office in Dsseldorf and has subsidiaries, representatives and agencies around the world. It was in 1928 that Loesche built the first spring-loaded air-flow mills, which even today are still known as Loesche mills.

Our designers are constantly coming up with new ideas and even more dependable components to reduce the already acclaimed low failure rate of our mills. The roller grinding mill technology, patented in 1928 and continuously developed since then, has become synonymous with Loesche's pioneering engineering know-how.
Grinding of cement clinker in vertical roller mills is a technology introduced by LOESCHE which was first used in 1935. Almost 30 years ago LOESCHE introduced the first vertical roller mill to grind both, cement clinker and granulated blast furnace slag, in one process. The concept of M- and S-rollers was established in 1992, which is one of the most cost effective and successful LOESCHE innovations.
LOESCHE coal grinding mills are distinguished by characteristics that improve efficiency, safety and environmental protection, from the standard version to top-of-the-range installations. Special versions are available with characteristics that meet special safety regulation or output control requirements.
LOESCHE has developed a special series of industrial mineral mills for the specific needs of grinding minerals. The smallest mills in this series - LM 12.200 and LM 15.200 - are delivered to the customer complete or semi-complete. Clariant Germany has purchased the first mobile LOESCHE grinding plant, completely integrated in seven containers, for the Balikesir facility in Turkey.
