Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home
Throughout history, one of the mainstays of any community was the local funeral home establishment. Though time and technology have changed many facets of our lives, the underlying principle of "serving families in time of need" has not changed in today's funeral industry. Our entire staff at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Homes adheres to that principle with every family that we serve or will serve today or in the future.

Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Homes has an established past within this southeast Nebraska area. In the mid 1960's, through mergers and acquisitions, two firms remained; Traum-Vance-Gerdes Funeral Homes and Nuckolls-Meyer Funeral Homes. In March of 1992, these two firms merged together to form Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Homes and in March of 1999, opened the new and current facility at 2414 "H" Street in Fairbury.
