A HERS (Home Energy Rating System) is a measurement of a home's energy efficiency. In the United States, the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) is responsible for creation and maintenance of the RESNET Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards, as well as certification and quality assurance on RESNET Provider organizations.
RedPoint LLC provides blower door testing using RetroTec equipment. This diagnostic tool is used to evaluate the air tightness of a home and helps locate deficiencies in the air barrier. When evaluating an existing home, the blower door is an invaluable tool used to identify deficiencies in the envelope.

James and his diagnosis of our 1983 home was impressive.
Before we spent money on improving our homes efficiency, we decided to have Redpoint LLC up to see where the money would be well spent. James visited our home and with his up to date diagnostic tools he quickly found our problems that would not be possible to find with the naked eye. Turns out with a few batts of insulation and caulk we can fix most of our problems! We can confidently say James and Redpoint saved us $1,000's.
