We couldn’t have imagined buying our first home with anyone else. Aria, Oscar, and Isabel took great care of us. We didn’t have a huge budget and we were buying in a tough sellers market, but they gave us so much attention anyway.

This is the 2nd time we have worked with Glass House Real Estate and they were very helpful and responsive. We were able to list our townhouse and obtain an offer in 10 hours and have a fully ratified in less than 24 hours. We worked with Khalil and his team after being referred by a friend. We flew in from overseas for one week to house shop in the Arlington area - we informed Khalil multiple times that we were flying in for only one week and were committed to making offers quickly and closing as soon as possible due to the time constraint and living overseas. By day 2 we had a house we wanted to make an offer on - long story short, it took Khalil more than 72 hours to get the offer in. Bottom Line: I highly recommend Khalil and his team. You can't beat the 2% rebate and the excellent service and expertise. We are happy with our house and price we paid for it and will miss working with Khalil and his team.
Rebate: I was drawn to Glass House after a friend told me that Khalil and his team only collect a 1% fee and provide the rest of their commission (usually 2%) to the buyer. The rebate basically covered our closing costs. I thought there would be a catch because Khalil offered such a good rebate, but there was none.

We bought our house with the team at Glasshouse. We did all of our background research ourselves and found a house that we wanted to bid on. We were reluctant to pay 2.5-3 % to a buyer's agent just for the negotiation and contract writing process, so Glass House's 1 % fee was perfect.
Khalil handled the negotiation and contract part, and was very professional and responsive. Victoria handled the closing- she is super organized.

I have a new town home I was looking to sell, I called this company because of the cash back incentive. I got all the info and took in what was said to me. I contacted 3 other realtors that had differing opinions of what I needed to do to sell the place for the most money. The fourth one I called said the same things as the previous three but also gave back .5% more than this company.
This company is good for giving cash back but it's not the best, do your homework .5% doesn't sound like much but when you're buying or selling a home it goes a long way.

Khalil (and Glass House Real Estate) provided me great service as a realtor when I purchased my first home. Khalil's young, tech savvy, and knowledgeable about the area (he grew up in Takoma Park, which is where I purchased, and works extensively in Northern Virginia and D.C.).
