Services
Dr. Terry Anelons is originally from the nearby town of Stow, and chose to open his practice nearly three decades ago in Harvard. At our office, your care will start out simply and effectively, to let you feel all the great effects of beginning chiropractic care. We'll check the movement of your body, especially problem areas, and your care plan is designed to get the function back to the area of your injury.
We're just over a 1/2 mile from Route 2, which is a main highway leading into Boston from the west. You'll take Exit 38B to find our office. From the Ayer rotary, we are 1.5 miles on the right. I have been a lifelong chiro patient and although I have had many very good chiropractors through the years, I have never had anybody I like more the Dr. Terry. He is an outstanding person, very knowledgeable, and he genuinely cares about his patients. His adjustments keep me working and walking! Dr. Anelons is wonderful, he knows his patients so well caters to their individual needs very well.
Dr. Terry had already started his career as a pharmacist when he personally discovered the benefits of chiropractic. Dr. Terry started care, and his knee pain was relieved. I'd always felt that pharmacy wasn't my final career path, but my visit to the chiropractor confirmed it. I realized how congruent chiropractic was with my beliefs.
Chiropractic is a safe treatment involving a variety of methods that can be used to help you and your unique condition. I was a skeptic about chiropractics, but Dr. Anelon changed that. I had enough pain in my lower leg to keep me from walking or even standing. Other doctors were going to treat the pain with a cortisone shot to my spine, but Dr Anelon reasoned that the pain was being telegraphed to my leg by constrictions in the nerve running from my spine to my leg. His adjustments got the pain to stop so that I can now get a brisk walk in every day.

How on earth has this review tallied anything less than 4-stars? Dr. Anelons is far and away the best chiropractor I've ever been to. No goofin' around when he's working on you. Get's right to the point, and 'crack' you're on your way out the door.
Only reason he doesn't get 5-stars is the wait. If you can get in before 8am or after 5pm then you're ok. Anything after that and it's at least a 30 minute wait.
Compare his google reviews with Yelp reviews; seems it's the groupon offers (not the quality of the service) that is driving

Terry isn't in this for the $ - he's both talented and in it to help/save people! I was having chronic headaches for years, have tried lots of things, + this was a shot in the dark. Terry was very good at explaining the physiology of what he was doing. Of course his sessions worked (about 6 weeks of sessions). BUT HERE"S THE MOST AMAZING PART: he showed me some standard stretches for me to do, and they've helped me maiantain the benefits without going back to his office. There's no gain for him in this strategy, only for me. Oh yeah - my girlfriend (super skeptical) went to him for a chronic foot

Stay away from this chiropractor if you value your time!! Schedules appointments too tightly with absolutely NO allowance for delay and no consideration for impact on his patients' time. Significant delays in appointments are the RULE, not the exception. I've waited the better part of an hour -- routinely -- for a basic, 15-minute maintenance treatment. Have protested several times. He simply doesn't care. He is virtually never on-schedule, and I have literally wasted hours in his waiting room. I will be looking for another chiropractor and strongly advise you to do the same

Dr. Anelons is always very attentive and has helped me greatly with the pain and tightness in my lower back, shoulder blades and neck. I still see him several times a year for maintenance/routine chiropractic adjustments. He does run late at times, but just call ahead of time to check if he's on schedule (at least that's what I've learned to do!). :)

My adorable wife booked me a 60 minute massage as a Christmas gift. She got a deal through Groupon so why not. I arrived about 6 minutes early for my 11am appointment and filled out a quick form. The massage therapist came out around 11:07 and greeted me. We spoke for about 2 minutes about what to expect and then asked me to get on the table under the blankets. After what seemed like an eternity and 11:20 on the clock, she came in and started to work. She was nice and did a good over all massage, but she promptly ended at 12:00 on the button. So I paid (yes a special rate) for a 60 minute massage

I have been a patient of Dr. Anelons at Harvard Chiropractic for about 25 years. Terry's technique is so effective, he truly understand body mechanics and the inter-relationship among ones skeletal, nervous, muscular and myofacial systems as well as ones whole heath. He is very personable and compassionate. He has always taken extra time for me when I have needed it and never once made me feel like I was imposing or made me feel rushed. I booked a massage here through Groupon and the massage was supposed to be for 60 minutes. I realize that I didn't pay the full amount because it was a Groupon, but that should not mean I do not get the full 60 minute massage. It only lasted about 50 minutes.
