Pediatric Dental Associates
Pediatric Dental Associates is proud to serve the infants, children, and adolescents of Bend, Redmond, and the surrounding communities of Central Oregon. As pediatric dentists, our mission is to provide the finest comprehensive and personalized care for patients and families. Dr. Elise and David Burrus and our team are committed to clinical excellence, while building trusting relationships with our patients in a fun and comfortable environment.

We value the profession of pediatric dentistry and understand that children have unique dental, behavioral, and emotional needs. Our Bend and Redmond staff are specially trained to work with children and strive to eliminate the fears commonly associated with dentistry. In addition to treating existing dental problems, our office focuses on educating families about proper oral health and prevention of dental disease.
Services
Elise Burrus, DDS, was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Boston College in 2005, with a degree in biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2009, and graduated with honors. Dr. Elise completed a two-year residency at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and received her pediatric dentistry certificate in 2011.
Pediatric dentistry is the specialty that focuses on the oral health of young people. Our office incorporates specialized training to offer the best dental service available to children in Central Oregon. Two to three years of additional training is needed beyond dental school. This program of specialized study and hands-on experience prepares us to meet the needs of children from infancy through the teenage years.
We understand your son or daughter's need to receive treatment in a practice that makes him or her feel comfortable, safe, and welcome. Please feel free to schedule an appointment or stop by for a complete tour of our practice. You and your youngster will get to meet our team, walk through our office and treatment areas, and learn more about the treatments we provide.
The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry all recommend that children visit a dentist by age one. The term "dental home" is used to describe the ongoing relationship between the dentist and patient. The most important reason for establishing a dental home for a child by age one is to begin a thorough prevention program.
If you'd like to share some kind words and smiles, please ask our front desk staff for a comment card at your next appointment. We'd love to hear about your experience! Highly recommend this dental office! My son always looks forward to his appointments. The office staff is friendly and efficient, the assistants are always helpful and kind, and Dr. Elise is always right on time, with a smile on her face.

Amazing people all the way around! Very helpful, friendly and kind. My son needed surgery with caps done on multiple teeth, however I missed qualifying for health insurance by a month at my job because of the Covid Close Down. They were very understanding about my situation and worked with me on the financial side of things without judgement. We would happily continue going to them for dental care as soon as my health coverage kicks in! Haha!

The front desk and other staff are great. The boys are not the least bit afraid of the dentist (ages 3 and 13), so the staff must be doing a good job. Kids get to watch movies during their exams. The kids get toothbrushes, floss, and a token for a prize dispenser.

The dentists are super nice. Not so much in the front desk! We have had a lot of medical issues and had to miss a couple appointments. They were less then understanding! They work more like machines rather then human beings.
