Anshin Japanese Acupuncture
Boosting your vitality, energy, and immunity through gentle needling in a relaxing environment. I believe that medicine should not only treat the whole person, but be relaxing and enjoyable. I also believe that a practitioner should listen and allow you to express your authentic self.

In my office, patients receive balancing treatment that deals not only with their main issue today, but also anticipates and corrects potential future issues so people can live their lives to the fullest.Anshin Japanese Acupuncture is currently not accepting new patients. If you would like to be added to a waiting list to be called when space becomes available, please be in contact.
Services
The acupuncture practiced at Anshin Japanese Acupuncture is slightly different from other acupuncture you may have had. It focuses on palpatory diagnosis and constant real time feedback from the patient's body and symptoms, and emphasizes shallow and non-insertive needle techniques. For patients familiar with Chinese acupuncture, this is very different than the normal technique of inserting needles and leaving the room.

On Wednesday evening, I got a text from Eric saying he'd had a cancellation the following day and asking if I'd like to stop by. We've been friends for several years but out of touch recently so I jumped at the chance to reconnect. He asked about my health and I answered that for an old guy of seventy I was doing pretty well, explaining that there was a sort of vague "phantom" sciatica-like sensation in my right hip.
