But those days go by quickly. Capture them! Because they are only young once. A painter first, Katie credits her background in fine art as the secret to her success.
She was halfway through her BA program when her advisor asked her to take his photography class. As soon as her images took to life in the darkroom she knew photography would be her calling. She went on to become the photo editor of her college newspaper where she polished her technique of not only capturing beautiful images, but the deeper story behind them.
