He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and has been awarded a General Anesthesia and Dental Anesthesia permit.
Dr. Sara is a general dentist with a keen interest in evidence-based dentistry. Coming from engineering and design backgrounds, she enjoys being accurate and creative with everything she does, especially while at work. Before attending the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Sara obtained a B. S. In Civil Engineering with honors, and worked for several years as a lead engineer at several highly regarded companies.

Had an absolute horrible experience this dentist office overcharged me completely not only did she charge me upfront for everything out of my own pocket but never submitted one claim to my insurance company or even tried to cut the cost. I paid $2000 to this company this dentist and I only had two cavities done and a cleaning what type of dentis is this number one secondly how am I being charge for all of that especially for preventative care it's covered by my PPO insurance with CIGNA I would not recommend by going here I would not recommend stopping by even taking a look trying to figure it out

After my go-to dentist retired, I was in the market for a new dentistry in the area. After much research, I found Holistic Dental and was very impressed by the quality of the dental cleaning and the kindness of the staff.
Faye in the front desk is very responsive via email and when I had to call to provide further insurance info, was very accommodating to my needs.

Love these guys! I've been coming here for the past 2 years, and the doctors, dental assistants and front desk staff are always super sweet and professional - truly the best. Just got some bonding done for two chipped teeth, and I'm beyond happy with the results - all thanks to newcomer Dr. Sarah! :)

After years of questionable dental work I started reading about holistic dentistry. I researched dentists in Southern California and found this office. I made an appointment and thought I was going to see Dr. Vafa. When I got there I actually saw another dentist, Dr. Sara, I believe. She was very patient and explained everything to me. She confirmed my beliefs regarding the dental work that my previous dentist recommended. Her assistant was awesome. She did the best cleaning I probably ever had. Faye was super lovely, as well as the entire office. Thank you all for taking such good care of me!

BEWARE! This dentist office has major ethics issues. Not only that, the front desk manager Fay is condescending and dishonest. I asked Fay to confirm my insurance covered a portion of my visit. I asked her to double check and she said yes. I was having tooth pain and the dentist assured me it was just a cavity and all I needed was a filling. The next day I was in excruciating pain anytime I tried to chew anything soft. I had to wait to go back in the following week because they wouldn't fit me in on an emergency basis. I’ve been going to Dr. Vafa for five years now and recommend him to anyone I care about. He’s a great dentist and he also has an outstanding staff. He did a tricky implant that needed some maintenance before the permanent tooth went in, and the staff was able to get me in around my tricky schedule and the end result is magnificent. He’s as professional as you’d want in a dentist while also being family. I’ve never felt up-sold or like they were recommending treatment that wasn’t needed.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Vafa and his team; they are simply the best! I've been to quite a few dentists over the last few years and I can say with utmost confidence that I have never trusted a dentist as much as I trust Dr. Vafa. He treats all his patients like family and therefore extends the same care that he would to his own family. My husband and I had our very first visit here today and it was a wonderful experience! The front desk staff are kind and clear in their communication regarding treatment costs and scheduling. I've had bad and painful experiences at other dentists, but my new dentist really made sure that I was comfortable during my cleaning which I really appreciated. Her kindness and understanding made all the difference. My husband and I will be coming back and sticking with Holistic & Cosmetic Dental Care for many years to come!

A great place for a visit! The staff from the first phone call to set up an appointment to the time I walked out of the door after my cleaning were so professional, helpful, and kind. I unfortunately have 2 cavities but they explained everything and even showed me exactly where they were and where they'd keep an eye on another - that to me was an extra step towards exceptional customer service. They were very efficient and made me feel so comfortable, even in the midst of a pandemic! Would definitely recommend to others & I'll be making my husband go here for his cleaning as well

Even during this difficult time, this office was protocol ready and extremely quick about helping me restore a crown that came loose created by a previous dentist I went to years ago. I was able to make an appointment and on the day of, I can early as usual. They got me in right away and I was on my way within less that 45 minutes. Always clean and professional, the staff and doctors are personable and easy going. The work is direct and to the point and always state of the art. Big love for the entire team! Thank you.

Let me start by saying half my face is swollen bruised.
I had 2 fillings replaced and a cleaning. Since these were replacements, I have had essentially this exact procedure before and somehow the dentist managed not leave my face swollen or bruised.
Over the years I have had several fillings, a root canal and oral surgery to take out 4 wisdom teeth. My face was a little swollen after the surgery, but it wasn't bruised. And none of the other fillings or the root canal left my face swollen or tender.
The people there are very nice, but I wouldn't ever go there again. Honestly, it

Update: Down to one star. The business owner reached out. But instead of offering an explanation and or apology he accused me of photoshopping a picture to validate my claim. The egotism and paranoia of this guy to think a stranger would take the time to do something like that is insane. Terrible customer service and a general lack of accountability.
