Cynthia Gibson-Horn, PT (CEO of Motion Therapeutics, Inc. and inventor of BalanceWear Vest) speaks with Marty (MS patient) and his wife Josie about using the BalnceWear Vest. Marty was introduced to the BalanceWear Vest at Balance and Mobility Therapy about 4 years ago. He has since regained most of his mobility and is even able to walk up and down stairs, unassisted.

Services
Vestibular rehabilitation involves the evaluation and treatment of impairments involving the vestibular system which is located in the inner ear. Common symptoms of vestibular disorders include: vertigo, dizziness, balance problems, falls, visual disturbance, nausea, vomiting, lack of concentration and fatigue.

Are you dizzy? - Balance disorder is a condition that makes you feel unsteady or dizzy, as if you are moving, spinning, or floating even though you are standing still or lying down. BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) is an inner ear problem that causes dizziness when your head moves in certain positions.
Occupational therapists can address a variety of disabilities including physical, cognitive, and mental health related disorders. Occupational therapy works with people across the lifespan after an injury, illness, or disability to help them become as independent as possible in activities they need or want to do in daily life.

The entire staff is great! Melissa, Kayla and Dan have helped my husband through several bad occasions of vertigo. They have gone above and beyond, we would highly recommend!
