Connolly Construction Co. was founded in 1947 by Roscoe "Dutch" Connolly. Originally, Connolly Construction Co. was engaged in excavation, heavy dirt work, and utility installation. In the 1950s, the company was heavily involved with the development of this nation's highway system and several of Ohio's state highways.
The company has worked in the development of several shopping centers, commercial, and entertainment developments in the Columbus area. Specific local projects in which the company has been involved include: Eastland Mall, the former Northland Mall, Columbus Zoo expansion, Muirfield Golf Course, Mad River Mountain, Scioto Downs, Frantz Road, and I-71 expansions.

The people at the office were good to work with, professional and very helpful. We rented a unit on Aldersgate for a 3 month period (Feb-April 2018) as a bridge between selling our home and moving into our newly purchased home. The unit was brand new, but we felt it was very expensive for the type of unit it was. $1600 a month and the unit had very little as far as upgrades. Very basic appliances, but the BIG downfall was the cost to heat the place. We tried to maintained a temp of 69 degrees, yet our monthly heating bills were $250 a month!! The floors in the place are all vinyl on top of a slab
