After earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in only three years from Queens College, Dr. Yelizar took a break from the books so that he could travel and explore his passion for photography. He soon returned and earned his Doctoral Degree from New York University College of Dentistry.
During his residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Dr. Yelizar learned to merge his love of science, art, and altruism in order to create gorgeous smiles like those he captured on film during his travels.As a passionate and dedicated professional, Dr. Yelizar attends numerous continuing education courses each year to further his dental education and stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques in the dental field.

Been having extreme tooth pain for the past week or so and when I woke up today it was absolutely unbearable. I called my own dentist, oral surgeons and many others to see if anyone could at least take a look at me. I called Simply Smiles spoke to a person right away and was in their office having an X-ray no more than 30 minutes after I dialed their number. Within an hour they removed the problem chompers and made my New Year’s Eve a numb but painless one. Highly recommend them to anybody.

I really dislike leaving negative reviews but this one definitely deserves it. My front crowns fell out and my dentist is out of town and could not assist me. Given that it was a front tooth is was really scaring my 3-year-old. I made an appointment with Dr. Tamara Yelizar and she has found every way to uncharge me for simply gluing of the crown.
1. She has not walked out of her office to actually speak to me nor UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM SAPCE.
2. She wanted $100 for an emergency visit - I am not sure how it's an emergency visit if I made an appointment in advance.

My wife is a patient here. I called to see if they could take me on an emergency basis. I was able to get an appointment on the same day. Dr. Yelizar knew exactly how to treat my issue and gave me solid advice on how best to follow it up at home. The dentists and staff at SimpliSmiles are friendly, accommodating, and professional.

Excellent dental services. Wonderful staff. After years of searching for a reasonable caring dentist, my search appears over! This office was highly recommended by close friend. I actually switched health insurance to join dental service after seeing how happy a friend with serious dental issues made out here. Simpli smiles has exceeded my expectations! I was looking for a new Dentist and this was the closest. The office is very new, very clean with updated equipment. The people working there are courteous and kind. The doctor very helpful giving suggestions and advice. The manager explained everything about future billing and dental work options! I will refer my family and friends to this office and I am confident they will have the same pleasant satisfaction!

Honestly, this visit far exceeds my expectations. The clinic is neat but clean and organized. I always hesitated to go to dental clinics since I was a kid. The staff and nurses are always smiling and treat me as if they were my friends, which helped ease my tension.
Dr. Tammy performed a regular teeth cleaning for me. She is so skillful and professional that I did not even feel sensitive as I used to on my lower incisors. The whole treatment was fast and effective.
The wait was not long and everything was so streamlined. I definitely will recommend SimpliSmiles to all my friends.

Words can't explain how incredible this place is. A few weeks ago I came here for my first time and I had a great cleaning, and awesome high-end x-rays taken. The doctors, owners, and front desk employees were all so welcoming and nice. The minute you walk in,

I was having bad toothaches over the weekend and the dental office that i went to, I didn’t feel comfortable with. After coming across Simplismiles i decided to give them a call. They took me in THE SAME DAY and explained everything to me during the process. I advised them i didn’t have insurance and they offered me a dental payment that i couldn’t… refuse. They also had an unbelievable discount for first patients. Dr. Peter Yelizar and his dental assistant really made my day better. And now i don’t have that annoying tooth pain anymore. It is little early to give over all rating since the procedure today is one of three to be accomplished but the first visit with all the drilling was virtually pain free and Dr Peter is knowledgeable and gave me several options for restoring my dental appearance. The office is clean and the use of You Tube and music while operating on mouth helped in cteating a relaxed atomsphere

NOT TRUTHFUL. Saw them on a groupon and it said they're open to 9 pm. This is VITAL as many businesses want to appear only late to attract new business. When I called them the doctor said it was an error and Groupon hadn't fixed it and they were only open to 6 pm. I then checked the website and it also had different later times. I called back and the doctor said that was an error too. I can't believe 2 errors like this both in the doctor's favor to entice callers. He's entitled to work whatever hours he wants but it's illegal to commit fraud. And saying you

Dr Yelizar and staff are amazing. My filling had fallen out nd Dr Yelizar saw me that very day even though I was a new patient. The filling was on one of my front teeth so I was very nervous about how it was going to look when he finished, needless to say he did a beautiful job, my tooth looks better than it did before my filling came out!!
