Our company was founded by Peoria native and former Mayor, James Maloof. In 1969, he started Jim Maloof / Realtor and within 8 years, became the #1 company in sales in Central Illinois. The company's current President is Jim's son, Michael Maloof. Today, Jim Maloof / Realtor is Central Illinois' largest independent Realtor with 17 branches in six counties and employs over 200 agents and a support staff of 30.

I was assigned an agent through Realtor.com who works for Jim Maloof. His name is Christopher Merry. I did text him on Christmas Eve, but only to remind him I was still waiting for info on a house I had asked about Tuesday that he said he'd send by the end of that day Tuesday and never did. I saw that the house went pending on Saturday, but he FINALLY reached out today to get an offer started, without even sending me the house info. No mention of it being pending. I told him I saw it was already pending, an hour later he responded that he just saw. A realtor should know this stuff before their
