I am Neyssa Lee, mother of five and a control freak, who uses photography to help you see the beauty in your own family's chaos. Motherhood is wonderful and yet oh so challenging. It is easy to get lost in the day to day, easy to forget the joy of motherhood, easy to worry that you're not enough for your children.
Well, I promise you, you are worthy, mama. I am passionate about helping mothers see the beauty and joy of their perfectly imperfect family. It is because of them that I know what a gift family is. It is also because of them that my love of photography was fostered, as they funded the endless rolls of film I used to photograph my dog as a child! With five children ages 8 and under, I feel like I'm constantly failing. Yet, it is a job I wouldn't trade for anything in the world.
I get it. Life happens. Should you need to reschedule, that is okay too (up to three weeks prior to your session). However, you will be limited to the dates available at the time you change your date. Please note that newborn, Fresh 48, and maternity families need not pick a specific date here. Instead please contact me directly to book your newborn, maternity, or Fresh 48 session.
After the many requests from parents for a Baby's 1st Year Photo Package, I have decided to add milestone sessions for your baby's first year. This allows you to create the perfect Baby's 1st Year package for your family. A milestone session is a 30 minute, on-location session (in your home or at an outdoor location) available when you book either a newborn session and/or a full family session for Baby's 1st Year.
As cliche as it is, the days are long and the years are truly short when it comes to raising children. That one reason why having family photos is so important, our kids just grow much too quickly. A lifestyle family photo session with me is about embracing the chaos while showing your love, dynamics, and connections within your family.

We loved every aspect of our experience with Neyssa Lee Photography. Even given her popularity, Neyssa was very accommodating with our schedule and desired location. Her website offered terrific tips for styling and We knew she was an email away if we had any questions about outfits. We had such a great experience with Neyssa. Or original photo date had to be changed several times due to rain, and in the end we had to do the photoshoot inside because of rain. However, she was very flexible on dates, and times which is so helpful when your stressing out how you're going to get this photoshoot done. I founder her with a quick google search and saw all the amazing reviews, and she did not disappoint! She's great with kids, and a great person to follow on Instagram- she's always posting interesting videos and blog posts!

We did both the fresh 48 and newborn sessions with Neyssa and everything turned out beautifully! I had a long labor and was still needing IV meds the next day but Neyssa was still able to take the most precious photos of our new family even though I needed to stay in the hospital bed. I love that she provides every image in both black and white as well as color. She is so easy to work with and was super sweet and gentle with our little guy! The newborn session also went smoothly and she worked wonders with the limited natural lighting in our house. We will definitely book her again for family photos

We have had two sessions with Neyssa and they have both been great experiences. She has children of her own, so she understands the chaos and is somehow able to come up with beautiful pictures when you think everything was a disaster. She is super helpful and her blog has great advice. We already have two more sessions scheduled with her, this year.

Neyssa is a dream to work with! She’s warm, personable, professional, and very good with children. We did the fresh 48 session with her and she worked her magic in the tiny room we had with minimal natural light and both sets of grandparents- all with a huge smile on her face. The shoot was such a great experience and the photos we received were amazing. My husband who usually hates himself in photos was especially impressed because she made him look slim! I would highly recommend her and we will definitely seek her out again to capture future family memories. Thank you Neyssa! :)

We had the pleasure of working with Neyssa this past Sunday on a Fresh 48 (more like Fresh 12 with the timing!) and we had such a lovely time. She was great with communication right from the start, unlike some other photographers I'd encountered on my search. Booking/scheduling was easy. On the afternoon of the shoot our room didn't have the best natural lighting but she made it work and you'd never know it wasn't ideal based off of the results.

Neyssa was wonderful during our family photo shoot. She went above and beyond accommodating our family for a perfect time and location for our shoot. She worked hard to make us feel comfortable and like we could just be ourselves during our time with her. Our photo session was really so much fun! She got our gallery back to us very quickly and the photos are stunning! She captured our family, my children’s personalities and the love that we share, perfectly. Neyssa has been photographing our family since before our kids were born. When I look at the moments she's been able to capture through the years, they range from new babies to missing teeth to my husband and I laughing hysterically. I am so thankful! Neyssa is easy to work with and very comfortable around kids (even when they are acting crazy). We've even hired her for a few large extended family sessions and she took the chaos in stride, capturing each family's unique personality. Every session we've had becomes our new favorite. Neyssa has done our school portraits and class pictures for years now. Because we are a farm school, our students take a photo with an animal from our barn. I am certain this is a difficult task for any photographer - capturing each preschool child is hard enough, but then add a sheep or a goat to that? Craziness! Neyssa has been so easy to work with, flexible, good with children and parents, and of course has captured great shots! Her system for our school families to purchase the photos has been good as well.

With my second son, we had the absolute pleasure of having her do a maternity session, Fresh 48 session in the hospital as well as newborn photographs in our home. She made us feel so incredibly comfortable as a family in each of these situations.

Neyssa Lee has developed a reputation for poor customer service and the quality of photography is below average. I have been a customer of Neyssa twice, both for individual family photos and for school photos. For the school experience, the owner developed an image characterized as "mean" by the other parents. This pertains to all experiences and interactions working with this business. I would not consider going here again in the future for a photography need. I would look to more established players in the market who are here to last, take pride in their work and who exude a general

One of the worse experiences ever! The studio owner was rude and very not accommodating. She was not interested in working with us as a customer at all. kept telling me that she is a busy mother herself and if we want photo retakes (my sons photos were bad. could not send any of them to his relatives), than I have to pay for all of them again.
Would not recommend her to anyone! Its not enough to know how to take photos. Its important to be a decent human being too.
