I have been putting off writing this review because I hate giving negative reviws but I hope this helps someone else avoid the crappy work SCK Painting & Drywall does - saving you SO MUCH time and energy and hassle and inability to be comfortable in your home.
I am sure some others have had an ok experience but please also consider they give a 3% discount for a positive Yelp review (it is advertised on their website. Red flag I should have noticed! Dangit.)
We had a saga and it took months to resolve (and my house still isn't fixed completely):

My experience with SCK Painting and their interior work exceeded my expectations on all fronts! Grace was super friendly, easy to work with, and seemed to truly care about the quality of work rendered. I procured four separate bids from painting companies that were all over the place.
SCK Painting's bid was mid-range, and fairly priced for the quality of work. I plan to use Grace and her team for exterior painting work which I'll likely complete within then next few years.

SCK has painted my last two houses, and I could not be happier with the job they did. They made it incredibly easy to get a quote prior to the closing of my house by using listing photos and details. The employees are professional, courteous, detail oriented, and trustworthy. I will definitely use SCK Painting and Drywall for my next project and recommend them to anyone in the Reno area.

SCK was referred to me by a friend who is a carpenter and so I expected the job to be decent... but it was more than decent. The job was done very well and when I had the walkthrough with Grace and found a few things that needed extra attention, she made sure that it got taken care of immediately. I was very pleased and would recommend SCK for your painting needs. I had all walls, fireplace, window sills and baseboards done throughout the house and it was all done with proficiency!

I am very uninimpressed with the way in which Grace conducts business. She subcontracts out all of her work to her employees/family members without being able to communicate effectively to the customer. She is cheap; her bid was unbelievably low. Now I know why! She finally admitted to me that she can't promise a great smooth wall result for me. She said on the phone "I could consider something good enough, but that might not be to your standard. I (we) don't actually know how to paint smooth walls." If you want quality and affordable work for the price I highly suggest

He has worked with this company for quite a while. He has two homes which were both painted by SCK a while back and they both look wonderful and show no signs of wear. He also very recently had two fences redone by SCK and they look fantastic! Working with SCK is easy and the company is extremely friendly and helpful in terms of working with the client and providing accommodations. He has never had an issue with the integrity of the employees or the work that they do, and he would recommend SCK to anyone!

We had our new home painted back in 2013 and they did a fabulous job. They even redid an area that I was not satisfied with to ensure I was. This past weekend I called to get the color that we had previously used and the owner went out of her way to look be a use they had revamped the system they were previously using. She ended up getting a hold of the paint company had them fax her the info then screen shot it to me to ensure I had the info I needed. Great work and grand customer service!!!

Grace is so very easy to work with. The prices are more than fair for the excellent workmanship and timely manner in which she gets the job done. We have used SCK for the inside and outside of our rental home three different times and every time were exceedingly pleased. We will definitely use them again!

I have had them paint for me at several differently locations. This last home they painted inside and out. They also caulked all the new baseboards within the house before painting. Sure there are always some touch up areas or paint out of place but they come in and fix it. Their price is reasonable and quality better than their pricing. A great value.

We've used SCK for well over 10 years. The expertise, timeliness and cleanup are awesome! I recommend SCK to all my clients and no one has ever had a bad experience. And their prices are very competitive. Plus, Grace has good suggestions on paint colors and how to emphasize a room or area. You'd do well to call SCK!
