We recognize this is a serious situation, but do not want to panic either. Many large events have now been postponed to reduce public gatherings - that's the right response! However, pain issues and being too sedentary can actually increase your odds of getting sick, so we will continue to help you in more hygienic, 1-on-1 therapy settings.

H.P.T. is owned and run by Matthew Deegan, a physical therapist (PT), and his wife Maria Deegan, a physical therapist assistant (PTA).

Huntington Physical Therapy, PC is a 3,600 square foot facility that includes a comfortable waiting room, seven private treatment rooms, a spacious exercise room, a whirlpool area, a dedicated Vestibular Rehabilitation examination room and one for its related exercises. All treatment rooms provide for the comfort and privacy that is important in your rehabilitation.
A physical therapist will take your health history, observe your posture and movement, and evaluate problem areas. An initial evaluation will be performed by a Physical Therapist. After your evaluation is completed, some portion of the treatment plan will be started on the first visit. There is always ample time allotted to answer any questions you may have regarding your condition.
Gathering information about the reason you are coming for physical therapy. Do you have pain, weakness, etc? Are there specific things you find difficult to do? We will take measurements of appropriate things such as how much your joints can move (range of motion), measuring your strength, gather your complete health history, and study how you walk, move, or sit.

I started training with Ethan in February 2021 because I was approaching 50, was losing muscle-tone and strength, expanding around my middle and feeling unfit, lethargic and not very good about myself. I didn't want this to be 'me' going into my latter years! I'd tried going to classes at the gym and using the equipment by myself, but I had no real clue of the best exercises to do and how to do them to actually get results.
