Evan began his painting career in 2003 while pursuing his business degree at Portland State University. During his time at PSU, he successfully ran a small painting franchise and mastered many of the basic fundamentals of the painting industry. After graduating as a dual major in 2008, he began working with one of the leading residential painting companies in Portland, and continued to fine tune his leadership and project management skills.
Now, with over 15 years of industry experience, he is the proud owner of Apex Paint and Remodel. He enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley and their 3 children as well as many outdoor activities including hunting or camping anywhere that will allow him an opportunity to get his quad in the sand.

Evan gave us a very fair price to paint our
primary bathroom after a remodel. His crew cleaned up some less than savory parts left over from the tilers. There was a completely innocent accident when the mirror was removed and unfortunately it got broken. Evan and his crew were quick to clean up the mess and resolve the situation. They were even kind enough to let us pay the difference and get a fancy new diamond cut mirror. It was on backorder which the a wrench in their schedule but they dealt with it very graciously, even coming out the next day after it arrived. Very, very impressed with the

I am beyond pleased with the work provided by this company! My 4100 sq ft house and 72' x 48' two story barn were in need of a paint job and some repairs. From the onset, communication with the owner, Evan, and their estimator, Brady, was clear and concise. Evan worked diligently in getting the paint I wanted despite there being a shortage of quality paint this year. The primary work crew consisted of the lead, Richard, and Eric with other members rotating. These guys did an absolutely awesome paint job! They were meticulous and detailed oriented; they arrived on time and left the job site spotless

I hired this company based on reviews. I had an insurance claim for a shower remodel. I needed painting, flooring drywall and shower door installed. I am very happy with this company. They matched my paint. They paid attention to detail. They did a great cleaning after they finished. Did have a slight communication problem with the estimator and not having the proper contract for the workers. I did catch this and they made everything right without any issues. I would strongly recommend them for your painting or remodeling needs.

Apex came and painted our house and redid part of our roof to repair a dry rot problem in April of 2021. From the time we first contacted them we did not have to wait long for them to begin work. The work was completed within three weeks. All the workers were professional, friendly and responsible. Everything was explained to us ahead of time and there were no surprises. We would definitely use their services again. We recommend them highly. The bottom line is that we love the way our house looks!

Evan's team installed new entry doors for us and did a fantastic job. The guys were professional, had great personal skills and did a complete great job for us! They worked to get the locks working after the locks themselves wee malfunctioning due to a factory problem. GREAT JOB Jeremy and Jason! Evan, hour guys did another fantastic job for us!!!
