In China, acupuncturists are Primary Care doctors. As a result, the "scope" of what acupuncture can treat opens up dramatically. We also find in China, the floors of hospitals are segregated between floors based on medicine practice. Allopathic medicine, or "Western Medicine" as we know it, and the acupuncture floors where the same symptoms and diseases are treated with Traditional Chinese Medicine, to include, acupuncture, qi-gong, herbs, etc.
We are excited to offer Digital Meridian Imaging (DMI) as a cutting-edge, diagnostic tool for our patients. I had known about digital meridian imaging for some time. Then I had an opportunity to experience it first hand. Once I did, I quickly realized the extraordinary benefits it could bring to our patients.
At RiverWest Acupuncture, we believe that it takes a team of practitioners to care for our health. We have created a network of practitioners that we have come to know and trust. I have high expectations of my providers; my experience at RIverwest has always been excellent. The acupuncturist serssions not only have addressed my physycal complaints, but have helped shift how I function overall.
The front desk and clinic operations are very professional; I do not recall a single poor experience, on the contrary.

The staff at RiverWest has been treating me off and on for 3 years. I have migraines and they have always fit me into the schedule and relieved my pain. They've also treated a pinched nerve with 100% success. This week I pull something in my back. I could barely walk. Once again, I was scheduled right away, treated professionally, and best of all got some movement back that day. Sheridan and Lisa explained where the pull likely occurred, why it hurts where it hurts, and how to care for it at home, including teaching me how to get out of bed or a chair more confidently until I am back to full motion

I have been going to Riverwest Accupuncture for over 20 years. Yes, you read that right, over 20 years! Lisa and her team has helped me maintain optimal health in some seriously trying health issues. I saw the other poor review, and honestly, everyone has off days.
When I first met Lisa, I had an on the job injury, that she helped me with, and I continued in that job for another 10 years. Looking back, I prob should have left sooner, but it was a job I took pride in, and Lisa supported me physically, so I could continue working.

Lisa Francolini and her staff are the best! The calm, healing atmosphere at RiverWest permeates from waiting room to treatment rooms. Lisa’s approach is wholistic, insightful, respectful, and highly personalized. Even after receiving acupuncture from Lisa, for more than 20 years, I really have no idea how or why it works. But I can attest that it does. I have seen her mostly for sleep issues, which somehow the needles are able to resolve, as well as digestive issues and other aches and pains. I've received numerous treatments over the past few years from both Sheridan and Jill with great results. They've treated me for headaches, colds, an injured shoulder, nausea, menstrual cramps, sleep issues - many of which were resolved within 1 or 2 treatments. I had no clue that laying on a bed with needles in me could feel like floating on a magical cloud of relaxation! Sheridan and Jill are authentic, gentle, highly knowledgeable, emotionally intuitive and really darn good at what they do.
