Melvin Mills Roofing, LLC, is a 2nd-generation family-owned roofing business that proudly serves the Southeast Missouri area, with headquarters in Fredericktown, MO. In the mid-1980s, our founder and namesake, Melvin, started offering roofing, siding, carpentry, and general handyman services under the name Melvin Mills Construction.
As Melvin's reputation for great customer service and quality work grew over the years, so did the demand for his services. In 2008, Melvin's youngest son, Craig, became a full partner in the business, and we began to narrow our scope of work to focus on building a true residential roofing company.

Providing high-quality roofing service is the cornerstone of our business. We offer roof replacement or new construction roofing services in both residential and non-residential settings. We are fully licensed and insured, and our crews are trained and certified by the roofing product manufacturers.
A Roof Maintenance Program is a process in which we come to your home, business, or church and inspect your roof. We use a rigorous checklist to look for any roof problems that may be occurring. We then provide you with a copy of the full roof inspection report, photographs of any roof problems we found, and a written list of any suggested roof repairs not already covered in your Roof Maintenance Program.
Oftentimes the next step after your roof is replaced is to install or replace guttering on your home. We offer new guttering installation services, which can be coordinated with your roof project and included in your roofing estimate or as a separate estimate, at your request. We also offer a variety of gutter guard options to reduce the amount of debris that may build up in gutters over time.
We offer 24-hour roof emergency service. If your roof is leaking, whether it is the result of storm damage or disrepair, please call our office or send us request for emergency help and let us know that you have an active leak. Estimate process was very competitive and explanation of job with several options was first rate and in person. Provided proofs of insurance without customer having to ask. Easy to do paperwork to get started. Every option accepted or not and verified prior to job starting. Very good crew. Job done quickly. I have a large roof that took three… days to finish. Looks great! An old leak we had has not resurfaced. Clean up was almost spotless! I found only a couple of nails and couple of pieces of old underlay paper that was missed. Office easy to deal with as was Mr. Mills and every one of

The guys at Melvin Mill Roofing have always done a magnificent job for us. They repaired a roof for us a several years ago after a storm and then more recently put the roof on our new house. We have never had any issues whatsoever. They also went out of their way to find the exact metal roof for my father-in-laws shop. They were never actually able to find an exact match because the original supplier had gone out of business but they were able to get a local manufacturer to make some new material that works and looks great. We love our roof! Not only were we wanting to replace our shingles we also had an addition that had a flat tarred roof that was causing some water damage. Craig and the crew did an amazing job repairing our damage and then they created a new pitched roof on our addition to match our existing roofline complete with a custom dormer. The whole… experience was a great one! Melvin also took great care and time to explain our options when we were picking our shingle type and color. All in all I would definitely recommend MELVIN MILLS ROOFING to anyone needing a new roof or repair.

Absolute horrible customer service. We had a leak within the first 6 months of building our house, that caused approximately $300 in drywall damage. After numerous phone calls and getting the run-around, they finally sent someone out to check on it (this after about 2 weeks of trying to speak to Craig directly). They came out, found the issue and… fixed it, but blamed the problem on the plumbing company somehow. After another week and a half of trying to reach Craig, he finally returned my call only to tell me it was an “unfortunate deal” and they weren’t responsible for

Paid for 2 roofs almost 25,000.00 in a matter of 3 years the second one was after the hailstorm in 2015 which didn’t get replace til the I believe June of 2016. I noticed this april there was a leak in my… dining room I contacted them I took 9 times for them to fix it each time they did something it got worse Craig told me from the beginning they were going to tear off that side and redo that whole side but it took the 9th time before they did and that was in August! In the meantime he said before we could start anything we had to sign papers allowing the work it was standard everyone
