Vasona Creek Healthcare Center

This place is a joke no one knows what's going on here. its sad to see I would not bring my loved one here . The nurses and staff dont communicate with each other.beware!! I wish it was different but it's not. We are getting out of this place.

One of my friend stayed at Vasona Creek Healthcare Center after a knee surgery and came home well recovered!! He got an excellent care from Nurses and Therapists. From Admissions, Front office , Social Services are very accommodating.

My dad was ill. Congestive heart failure, on dialysis, and kaiser explained he would get better care her than at home....what a lie. Some of the warning signs at home were if he gained 3 or more lbs in a day he had to go to the hospital. In a week he went from 170 to 189. We took him out on our own he was so swollen and miserable. We took him to santa clara kaiser and he passed within 30 mins. He had a dnr. He had a seizure and his heart stopped. Well visiting at the rehab We couldn't even talk to staff they are severely understaffed. Yes my dad was on his last days I totally understand that

I have to say putting a loved one especially your elderly father in a nursing home is a hard decision to make and on top of that finding a place that will treat them as if they were their own.I was faced with this task as my elderly father was weak from having pneumonia and sepsis.I was given a list of nursing homes from Kaiser to pick.Vasona was last on my list since it was far from our home.I looked up every nursing home on the list that where close to home.I read every Yelp review called a couple of medical friends on mine who have worked in nursing homes and narrowed it down to two.Well my

Two things I appreciate about Vasona Creek is the beautiful facility. I have heard many comments about the facility as well as the nursing care. I appreciate their commitment to creating a safe environment. With things opening back up I notice more visitors. Thank you Vasona Creek and thank you to all the excellent nurses.

My loved one was at Vasona Creek after leaving El Camino Hospital. I just want to say thank you. The nursing team took such good care of my loved one. Thank you to therapy for helping her walk again. She loved the food. Big thanks to Dr. Chi too.

I was reluctant to send my aunt to a nursing facility. A Good Samaritan hospital case manager referred us to Vasona Creek nursing home for her hip recovery. The rehab team did such an excellent job getting her back on her feet. She went home two weeks later. Thank you to Doug and Doug's therapy team!!

Vasona Creek Healthcare Center has done an excellent job taking care of my uncle. We drove to Los Gatos from Roseville to see him this weekend. Christian, in the front, greeted us immediately. We visited with my uncle by the water fountain. It was a very peaceful area. Thank you Christian and Vasona!

If i could give negative 5 star to this funeral home. I would. That's right, i called this facility a funeral home. My dad was brought here from Kaiser for his broken shoulder and finger. This place is horrible. They have un certified nurse assistants doing nurses jobs that only nurse is suppose to do. They cramped my dad with two other guys in one small room with no AC working. Food was cold. And they don't change diapers on time until we asked them to. One day i went to visit my dad and he was suppose to have his neck brace , arm sling and finger sling in at all times. He had nothing

My mother was here with Kaiser. Her case manager and dc coordinator were very helpful the entire time. If she needs to return we will come back here.

My father spent a few weeks of rehab at Vasona Creek recently and we had a wonderful experience. I was very nervous at first but after meeting with Brett the Administrator I felt better that my Dad was in great hands. The staff called and kept me informed of his progress. Everyone we encountered during my Dads stay was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Vasona Creek to anyone needing therapy. Thanks again for a great experience.

We're going to start w a one star review (would be zero stars): My mother was pushed out the door by St Louise Hospital in Gilroy to this facility. She arrived around 11PM last night and was immediately berated by the intake personnel. She then sat in urine for 4 hours bc they had no female attendants to address her issue. She also went the night without her medications due to the expedient manner in which she was discharged from St Louise. I attempted to contact the administrator of this facility but only reached his voice mail. Ultimately I spoke w the assistant nursing director and related the

This place is horrible and very under staffed as most of the employee's are out with COVID. My 90 year old father is trapped in there and they will not let family or my mom see him as many other like facilities do. They do not provide status calls or reports of my father who caught COVID from being in there. They loose my father's belongings and we could see him through a window from outside wearing someone else's clothing at one point. They also bill for services that have not been performed, medications that they shouldn't be and over fill the rooms with patients. I witnessed employee's out back

My 89 year old father in law is receiving great care here after having complete shoulder replacement surgery two months ago! He's been here under quarantine for 6 weeks now and I see the staff caring for him quite lovingly. Good work folks

This facility has not cared for my family member. She has been stuck (a prisoner) at this facility. Not allowed to see her family, the facility has lost all of her personal belongings. The facility does not get her up out of bed and dressed. She is left in bed in her sleep ware. They allow other patient to visit family through the patient room window. But they move my family member to a rooM where the window is not accessible. She is nearly blind and deaf and unable to care for herself. The facility allows family members of other patient to go into the facility and care for their loved

There were many people doing their best to attend to my mother. In the times of Covid it is very difficult when you cannot see your relatives.

They need to improve their policies in terms of having a DNR posted above the bed. My mother had a DNR and they revived her had no idea about her medical records. She was transferred to a hospital where they revived her again and then she ended up on a ventilator.

Vasona Creek should be at the very top of your list if you or your family is looking for a skilled nursing facility. We were treated with warmth and compassion from the moment we toured the facility through the end of the stay. I strongly recommend Vasona Creek, the rehab care was outstanding and we especially enjoyed getting to know our nursing aide.

I been at Vasona Creek for almost a year now and the staff is beyond great helping one another and attending our patients and families needs. I couldn't have been any happier than how I am now and interacting with staff and residents have been a great experience. Definitely recommend this place to many families and friends.

A great place for short or Long term stay.. Situated in a nice country like setting nestled along Los Gatos Blvd in the Town of Los Gatos. I do hope the workers here enjoy their job, unlikev. Not some others in other locales that only do it for the money. If I do notice this, I will update my review.

My mother had a great experience at Pine Creek in Roseville, CA. So I was worried when my aunt who lives in the bay had to go to a nursing home. My niece and I talked about options and we saw the great reviews on Vasona Creek.

The case manager at the hospital was very helpful and answered all our questions about Vasona Creek. We were welcomed by the staff when my aunt rolled in. Several employees walked in the room and introduced them selves. I was told that Tanya the head nurse and Brett the administrator would follow up.

I recently visited Vasona Creek to have lunch with my aunt who had broken her hip a couple weeks back. I was truly impressed with the exquisite facility and friendly staff. Every employee I interacted with was professional, helpful and very accommodating. Lunch was absolutely amazing (like 5 star amazing)! My aunt went on and on about the awesomeness of the staff and the facilities unsurpassed amenities and conveniences. So happy to know that my aunt is being taken care of so well. My step father was an inpatient over the holiday season for a hip procedure recovery. The care he received during his stay was exceptional. The staff went beyond the level of care required to help my step father recover. Also, the Holiday decorations were lovely, and brightened the stay for my step dad and my family!

I READ some of the reviews and do not agree. My auntie received wonderful care at this facility. She was there for a hip fracture and she also got the flu at the hospital. She was supposed to go home but was told she needed to go to a skilled nursing facility. It was recommended I check out a few places nearby. The staff at this facility was kind and respectful.
