I feel so lucky to be able to work every day doing what I love, but I especially love the joy it brings me to have people of all ages, genders, and styles sit in my chair, be able to connect with them one on one, and outwardly portray what they visualize as their style (but pictures do help!). Jen Astengo is the owner and mastermind behind Salvage Hair Studio in San Dimas, CA.

Salvage Hair Studio is FABULOUS!!! The owner is AMAGING & the Stylists are all well vetted & extremely good at what they do!
The Studio has a great vibe & when you leave, your hair (color, cut, blow-out, etc.) looks perfect and you feel better having had a great experience for a reasonable price. Highly recommend Salvage Hair Studio!

Jesica did a fabulous job on my hair! I showed her a picture of the blonde balayage I wanted and she nailed it perfectly without compromising the integrity of my baby fine hair. I really enjoyed my time chatting with her during my appointment and the salon was super cute and clean. I felt very safe as they had a lot of extra covid precautions they were taking. I highly recommend this salon and Jessica!

I highly recommend Nicole Eckes for all your hair needs!! She's professional and does an amazing job. She really takes the time to listen to what you want. I've been going to her for years now and I'm never disappointed.
Salvage is such a cute and super clean space! They are taking Covid very seriously and following CDC guidelines to a T. Everyone is wearing a mask all the time, my temperature was taken before I walked in and questions were asked,it's super clean and they are disinfecting everything!!

So excited that the salon is back open and happy to see Pia today. Both of my daughters & myself have been going to her for several years. If i could leave 10 stars I would. My hair is always gorgeous and the color is exactly what I want. I can always count on Pia to tackle my gray roots. Everytime I stop anywhere after leaving the salon, I always have strangers ask me how I get my hair so soft & shiny. Thank you to Pia and all the ladies at Salvage. They are doing a great job following all health department mandates keeping the salon safe & clean!

I love Pia! She's been doing my hair for quiet a while now. I have followed her from her previous salon. She came highly recommended from a group of friends that still see her. Their hair always looked so cute and well done, so I asked who they were seeing.... She asks and always listens to what I want to do with my hair at that visit. I always leave with exactly what I wanted and love it! I Also enjoy visiting with her during my visit. She is a darling wife and mother.

Pia has been doing my hair for so many years that I have have lost count. She is amazing and I always love how my hair looks and feels. She listens to what I am thinking and what I want and I always walk away amazed. She is on time and professional every time. I even hired her for my wedding and to do my hair for my bridal shower too. I can't say enough amazing thing about Pia. I recommend her to all my friends and anyone that is looking for a stylist.

I made my first appointment at Salvage with Pia. I was unsure of what I wanted and I shared some inspiration pictures of the style I liked and she executed it perfectly! I'm always afraid of drastic change but she reassured me and listened to my wants and what I disliked. I know I can trust Pia with my hair and I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family! She did such a beautiful job with my hair and I am loving the new look!

I wasn't going to leave a review but after Pia not taking any responsibility for damaging my hair last Friday, here I am. This is so not cool my hair health is everything to me and after a visit with her for the second time I cant wear my hair down without styling for the first time

Salvage is such a cool, clean, and hip studio! I particularly like the fresh, bright and personal vibe felt in the main styling room.
I appreciate how the stylists at this salon have adopted careful measures to protect the safety of their clients. As soon as I walked in, I had my temperature taken. They disinfect stations after use, and both stylists and clients are required to wear masks at all times.
It felt great to once again be in a cheerful and energetic atmosphere after months of limited social interactions. The stylists are all incredibly friendly!

Jennifer Astengo just opened her own hair studio in San Dimas! The new studio is very cool, design in keeping with its name "Salvage". It's done in greys and wood, hardwood floors and sliding grey steel doors into various rooms. It's really stunning! And of course, Jennifer and her team are excellent. I was there for the second day of opening, it was running smoothly. I highly recommend Salvage Hair Studio!!!

Had my daughter get her hair dyed for the first time ever and Danielle Robles did an amazing job!!! Even thru all the restrictions of the pandemic, Dani made sure my daughter felt comfortable. She listened to everything we wanted and took really great care of her. My daughters hair looks AMAZING!!!

Blown away with my first experience At this new salon in San dimas. The owner just purchased this salon right before covid closed down all the businesses. She revamped the whole place ... ITS STUNNING! First off it was so clean ... every stylist and the receptionist were so great about disinfecting the stations. My hair stylist Dani was amazing ... I walked out of there feeling like a whole new person! Hair cut ... extensions and color all done! It's really a lovely place ! Must go!!!
