The Center for Pulmonary Excellence at Hampton Ridge was developed in conjunction with top pulmonologists and nurses to provide patients with a high level of care and management for a broad range of pulmonary conditions, such as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), pneumonia, and post-tracheotomy, among others.
Hampton Ridge's long term care program addresses the specific needs and interests of seniors and other long-term care patients. We believe that individuals who require long-term care deserve to enjoy a healthy and quality life to the greatest extent possible. Our emphasis on a restorative approach maximizes each patient's overall function and mobility.
Hampton Ridge accepts admissions seven days a week. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and many insurance plans, as well as private pay. My 91 year old mother was there for 30 days and what a wonderful experience she had while recovering from a fall. Everyone at Hampton Ridge was attentive, caring and always made time to talk with my mom. The therapy team was top notch, with a very impressive facility for PT / OT. What stood out for me was the Administrator Michael. Everyday he made it a priority to always checked-in with the patients, assuring that their daily needs were met. My family could not have asked for a better place and I highly recommend Hampton Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Response to the call bells was atrocious. Most of the nurses were incompetent. The aides would readily tell you that they could not be disciplined because they could not be replaced. My requests for a long bed and a mattress to help with the bedsores (which they gave me) were never fulfilled. Pay close attention to your personal belongings as I had things disappear and other items not given back to me at discharge. Overall a really bad experience.

I am very impressed with Hampton Ridge”from the moment I walked into the building met the Receptionist and the Nurses and Aides on the floor where the patients recover. Not to forget the the Physical Therapists who were excellent for Caring for my wife .
The rooms well kept food was excellent nice choice of selections on the menu.And again when you have a dedicated staff like Hampton I recommend this this Facility .

Bravo for Hampton Ridge...I was there for 16 months, and in that time I experienced a fully supportive therapy department. Dr. Mazur was proactive in my recovery. The facility was immaculate and cheerful. The administration, headed by Michael Neiman was attentive to the residents' needs. Michael personally addressed all of the patients by name, he listened to them and, most importantly, did the follow up! CNA's Valerie Wendy, Debbie and Cathy were always at my side, encouraging me to progress, and thanks to the staff, I was able to come home!

Do not be afraid to come to Hampton Ridge if you need rehab care services! They can get you back to a place of good health--and get you back home!
My dad just returned home this week after spending 72 days in rehab at Hampton Ridge. He was stricken with a serious medical condition that affected him both physically and mentally, and as recently as Mother's Day on May 9, we received the dreaded "he's not responsive" phone call, truly believing we would lose him that night. We were told he had not been eating, which is always the signal that a person has given up.

For the past 15 months, my mom has been residing at Hampton Ridge in the memory care unit. I cannot say enough about the nurses and aides that take care of her. They go above and beyond to make sure she is happy and safe. The recreation staff is also wonderful. A special shout-out goes to Jeanne Ziarko, a very special nurse who is in charge of that unit. She is always willing, during these difficult times, to wheel my mom to the window or door for a visit. She keeps us well informed and has a heart of gold. I am so grateful and thankful for Jeanne and the entire Hampton Ridge staff.

I find Hampton Ridge to be very clean which is very Important especially during these challenging times. I feel that the care given to my relative is very good. I am a strong advocate, and I feel the communication lines are good, professional and caring. I would never place a relative in an environment in which I did not feel they were safe or being taken care of. I would remove them if so. So I do recommend Hampton Ridge.

I just spent four weeks at Hampton Ridge regaining my strength after a stay in the ICU at Community Hospital. Everyone treated me very well and helped in my recovery. All of the therapist worked with me and were very patient. The nurses were excellent and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable there. Everyone cared! It was my third time at Hampton Ridge and I would not hesitate to go there again! I can recommend it highly!
