I have been having knee pain for years from sports injury in the past. I went to Dr. Song at HolliBalance for one session two years ago and the knee pain was gone. The knee pain recently returned. I had difficulty going up and down the stairs. I had another session at HolliBalance and the pain has reduced significantly. The herbal pain spray Dr. Song works like magic. I had two failed IVF cycles and had constant headaches from all the injections in the IVF cycles. I had two miscarriages and one D&C procedure before I started seeing Dr. Zhao at HolliBalance. I had been trying to get pregnant naturally on my own for six months before I decided to try acupuncture to get some help at a friend’s suggestion. I had a head injury early last year and caused constant headache for eight months. I have been to neurologists and chiropractors but the headache persisted with no sign of alleviation. Dr. Song is amazing. Best in the city. I had a very complicated and scary pregnancy with multiple issues. I could not have done it without her. She spends time needed with me each session no matter how busy she is. I ended up having a very easy and smooth vaginal birth with no complications thanks to her special technique. I recently saw Dr. Song and she did seem very nice and knowledgeable. But I wasn't very impressed with how I felt after my visit. I've had pain in my foot for 6 months and I felt that after my visit I actually felt worse and the pain is more intense. I think for $240.00 for your first visit is a ridiculous price (my health insurance didn't cover the visit). I think I would feel different if I had some relief but I feel that there are many acupuncturist in Boston who are cheaper, just as knowledgeable and are more concerned with helping you then taking your money. Tim in a word is extraordinary. He is genuine in his approach to the client from heart, soul, body and mind. It is obvious he never separates those aspects of understanding the client on a level of wellness/illness. I have days of feeling much better with only one acupuncture treatment. BEWARE of their billing department!
Dr. Song is amazing and he has nothing to do with the front desk. I have had several "over" charges on my card that has taken weeks to resolve. After they fixed it the first time I decided to come back again. Three weeks later, they charged me "double because they didn't collect last visit". That's a lie! They won't even let you see the doctor til you pay! So how would they forget that? I had the proof but the billing department won't allow it. "Tough luck". An extra 5 dollars is one thing....but they over charged 240 DOLLARS!!
