Our President, Bradford T. Bowen III started in the corporation in 1966. At that time, working for his father, Bradford T. Bowen Jr. (Past President FRSA 1986-87). In 1976, Brad succeeded his father, taking over daily operations of the company. Still today, he is active in the major part of the operations.
He is recognized by the Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association, Inc. (FRSA) as a Certified Professional Roofing Contractor (CPRC). Currently, he is a trustee for the FRSA/SIF. Bradford T. Bowen IV joined the operation in 1987, working part-time while attending college.

Bowen replaced half of my metal roof that no longer met code. They were the only company around here that would even give me a quote because the roof is high and steep. It seems to have been done correctly. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I can’t get them back to do the other half, which also doesn’t meet code.

I manage several apartment communities in Central Florida. One had heavy damage during the last major hurricane. Roofers were in very short supply (couldn't get anyone to even call us back for weeks.) We had our roofer from out of state come down and roof this property. Everything has been fine until a month ago. There is an issue with 1 unit leaking. I called this company, explained everything to the person that answered, and he basically said that he wasn't interested in the business and rudely said I should call the guy back from out of state to fix it.

I would highly recommend Bowen & Son Roofing without any hesitation to anyone interested in roof repairs or new roof installation. They are very knowledgeable, competent and professional. They just completed the installation of our new roof which was a huge job with a very complicated roof design. Their employees exhibited all the qualities most appreciated by homeowners; they were courteous, polite, professional, and cleaned up all their debris (including blowing off our driveway) each day before they left the job site.
