From automotive to nuclear power, M-7 is equipped with the latest technology in advanced measurement instrumentation and experience.

M-7 Technologies also features a 46,000 ft2 equipment manufacturing and repair workshop, offering a large variety of high quality manufacturing and re-manufacturing services. Disassembly, failure analysis, precision assembly, welding, manual and CNC machining are all best-in-class operations performed by M-7.
Services
M-7 Technologies, based in Youngstown Ohio, was launched in March of 2004 to reduce manufacturing costs, improve product and service quality, and to reduce the cycle time required to manufacture or repair heavy industrial products through the application of digital data base technology and advanced measurements systems.
Dr. Persi played several key roles in creating the world's most experienced laser scanning service corporation, with leadership responsibilities over evaluation, design, calibration, validation, testing, and quality assurance of laser ranging systems and software products. This company was a direct outgrowth of a DARPA SBIR contract for which he served as Principal Investigator.
M-7 has joined forces with Nextec 3D Inspection Technologies, a leading precision measurement company located in Israel. Nextec specializes in providing high precision, non contact, fast laser measurement solutions. Using proprietary developments in optical metrology and laser scanning Nextec is able to provide equipment and software that enables real-time process and quality control on the manufacturing or production floor.
We provide on-site dimensional inspection services utilizing the most accurate and precise portable CMM (coordinate measurement machine) equipment available. We perform reverse engineering, dimensional and geometric part inspections, equipment alignment, large-scale laser scanning (plants/facilities), and small-scale laser scanning (reverse design).
Advanced Metrology and 3D Imaging systems enable the measurement of complex shapes thousands or millions of times faster and more completely than mechanical methods. To measure complex shapes, one uses specialized optical instruments to scan the object from multiple directions. By collecting many such scans, each in a different known location, one gets dozens or even thousands of data sets a.k.a.
