Normally the side excavation is approximately two feet beyond the finished pool perimeter to allow for assembly and a concrete footing to be installed.

Paid these fools to “winterize” my pool last year - now I’m losing 2 inches of water a day in a 30,000 gallon pool. Called them to come look at it - “Sorry, sir. It will be a month before anyone can come look at it. You can’t prove it’s our fault the pool leaks.”
Their staff is rude and arrogant, and their workmanship sucks. Don’t waste your time or money with these jokers!
