When taking a look at a home's HVAC unit, DNS Home Inspection will examine the unit for any signs of leaks, water damage, blockage or safety issues as well as when the system was last serviced. An electrical inspection evaluates whether the amperage of your system is sufficient for the property's requirements.
DNS Home Inspection doesn't just do home inspection. It's part of our promise to go above and beyond. If you're purchasing a home with a pool, its safety and condition are just as important as the rest of your home. Basic Pool Inspection is included with a home inspection and involves an inspection of the basic operation of pool equipment.
Wind mitigation is the ability to understand how well your home will survive a storm with debris and the elements coming at it. We'll access windows, doors and all access points. Our DNS team will take a closer look at how your roof is attached to the walls and how the sheathing is attached to the trusses.

First inspection went well. However, upon request of second inspection was told to go pound sand & get a out of county inspector ! Not Smart ..
Not the CS , I deserve or expected. So, I trust nobody in Highlands County ! Sad Shawn seemed like a great guy. If your NOT protecting the residents with the truth. Your part of the problem of this no pro active
Code/permit/inspection nonsense adopted by County Commissioners. What happened to the honest sweet county I once knew. Thanks for nothing & I will pass this thru the systems I have in place.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We have been searching for a home to purchase and were referred to DNS by our agent. We didn’t expect such a thorough process- but there was Sean, climbing and crawling and looking at things we would never have thought about. And he gives great advice and will tell you upfront if there are issues with the structure. If you hire them you can expect:

I needed a Home Inspection and a Wind Mitigating Report on my home, which was required by my new insurance company. DNS Home Inspection and Consulting Services was recommended by a friend, and I was so glad they did.
I was very impressed with their punctuality, professionalism and friendly service. Sean took his time to explain the process from top to bottom, before beginning his inspection. He also gave me a clear understanding of what needed to be done for my report.

DNS Home Inspection went above and beyond! Deb and Sean did such a thorough job. They checked EVERY outlet and light switch. Crawled around the whole attic looking of water damage...even through it was sooo hot. They kept my husband and I informed when ever they found something a little off or something really great that added value. They even did extra research on the electrical panel. It looked "fine" from the outside. However, these two had the expertise to know something was off. Turns out that brand of electrical panel was not used anymore because it had caused so many house fires!! Beware

Debb and Sean are awesome! They did a detailed inspection on our Florida home and coordinated with our realtor so that we could ask questions in real time from 1,000 miles away in Pennsylvania. DNS uncovered a few issues and gave us a detailed report and some great advice. We had to remedy a few issues for our insurance and they required a professional verify the repairs were done properly. I called them around noon and they were able to come and verify the repairs same day! Great service, great people!

I was so happy to find such a professional and honest inspection team!!! Sean arrived early and answered questions before beginning. He coordinated the arrivals of 2 other experts that were needed for my inspection. Sean made sure that all of them were on time. All of the guys kept us informed about their findings as they worked, and at the end, Sean gave a comprehensive summary. He reported deficiencies and explained the easiest and cheapest ways to correct them. Highly recommend this company !!!
