The best way to see if your insurance covers acupuncture is to read your policy and, or ask your agent or employer. If your insurance doesn't cover acupuncture, find out why it doesn't. More insurance companies are paying for acupuncture now but if your's doesn't, you may be able to switch plans or companies.

I started going to Dr. Fong a few weeks ago. I have had chronic pain on the left side of my neck and shoulder that had been causing me headaches for over decade. I wanted to get acupuncture since I was pregnant and wanted to get the baby moving (I was 39 weeks and 2 days and was ready for baby to be born). I took the recommendation of a fellow mom from my mom's group on Facebook - and I'm so glad I did. Ryan and his staff were amazing - so sweet and accommodating. Found Ryan based on Yelp reviews while I was 39 weeks pregnant and just ready to get into labor naturally. I had a C-section with my first pregnancy and wanted to avoid medical induction and having another major surgery. He is magic. I started at 39 weeks and went three times over that week before my water broke. Right at the top of 39 weeks my doctor confirm that I had not dilated whatsoever and by the time my sessions were done I had dilated 3 cm! Go see him immediately!

From being parachuted into hostile environments such as the south east Asian jungle, or working part time as a stunt extra, I had more than my share of dislocated and broken limbs, so my need for a top-notch acupuncturist was as essential to me as staying alive. Ryan is awesome! I was referred to him by my infertility doctor and don't regret it. He is super knowledgeable about TCM in conjunction with infertility issues. I saw him pre IVF and throughout my whole pregnancy. I contribute having a happy and healthy pregnancy to him and my chiropractor. Ryan made himself available for any questions I had during labor and delivery. My son had a mild case of jaundice when he was born and Ryan was nice enough to respond to my questions outside of business hours, which was helpful. Ryan goes above and beyond for his clients! I called Ryan Fong at the recommendation of my chiropractor. I was 41 weeks pregnant and really didn't want to be medically induced and was looking for more natural ways to get the process started. Ryan called me back and fit me in the same day. I had never had acupuncture done before and he did a great job of explaining to me what would happen ahead of time. The treatment itself was crazy! Ryan Fong is my hero! I'm not sure why it took me so long to finally try out Acupuncture. I have been having back pain for the last couple of years. After just 5 sessions my back pain is completely gone. I've been following his recommendations and it's been great. Ryan has a very awesome personality and is very caring. I have been dealing with a chronic wrist issue and have tried just about everything, with varying degrees of success. Ryan Fong was recommended to me by a colleague and I decided to give him a try - and I'm so glad I did. Ryan did a very thorough intake, made me feel comfortable and listened to my complaint. He treated me several times; a few times with work only over the wrist and other times with a full body treatment and it has really, really made a difference. I had a groin pain that was affecting my walking and limiting my ability to go to the gym. The pain was so bad that I was using a walker to get around. Not wanting to be dependent on pain killers, my doctor suggested acupuncture. I decided to try it. Growing up in a family of doctors, I must say I was skeptical at first - but after my first session here, I am a believer... and this facility is professional, clean and comfortable! 5 stars for sure!

I have been seeing Dr. Fong for the past 4 months for stubborn weight loss and have been amazed by the results. I have lost a total of 25 lbs and actually reached my weight loss goal today!! I've come to realize that within each practice of medicine (be it Eastern or Western) there are a range of temperaments. No matter the specialty, some practitioners will simply show up and take the exact same approach to each patient, barely giving you the time to talk through your problems before coming to a conclusion on your treatment. I have been a patient of Dr. Fong's for over 2 years and highly recommend him! He is extremely knowledgeable , compassionate and always willing to go the extra mile for his patients. I sprained the top of my foot 3 months ago and it was healing at snail speed. I have been doing acupuncture off and on for 5 years and decided it was time to try it on my foot. From the experience I had from another acupuncturist, I think he is more knowledgeable, and also talented. He adjusts points, thickness of needles, and the way he inserts the needles every time so that it would work better. I did not see this capability in my previous acupuncture experience.

I met him last week for my first acupuncture session and the results were AMAZING!!!!!
I had a very strong eye twitching that I had for a very long time and after the first appointment 90% of the discomfort disappeared

If you are suffering from chronic pain of any kind I suggest you make an appointment with Ryan as soon as possible. I was bothered by pain in my shoulder and neck for years due to a sports injury. I tried a number of different things to try to relieve the pain including physical therapy and chiropractic but had no success. My only options seemed to be to take muscle relaxers indefinitely or have surgery, both of which I wanted to avoid. I had been struggling with asthma, food and seasonal allergies on and off since I was a child. I had tried Western Medical treatments over the past years. I would get temporary relief with the help of inhalers, allergy treatments, nasal sprays and oral medications.

Ryan is AMAZING!!!! I began going for excrutiating migraines which he has thankfully relieved. He has also treated me for several other issues that have also gone away. Ryan pays very close attention to complete wellness. Along with improving my body physically he pays special attention to all life factors.
