My experience was not that .great bcz it was my first time there, and I got Jennifer, she was a nice young lady, good conversation, but she cut too much off the length it turned it into a sorta pixie oldfashion look!I told her i wanted it to be thinned out cut out the heavyness from the top so all the hair can fall over the sides and back which I showed her a picture of the look i wanted to go with. Instead i ended up with short layers and puffy at the top back side because she cut length it was already shorter at that area to begin with., from the rest of the crown top area, it didn't need cutting

We’ve been going for a while but I don’t think they have a good customer service. Receptionist has a bad attitude toward to us. One time, stylist left me for more than 15 minutes after she washed my hair and jump to a new customer to take care of hair walk away. She don’t even bother to ask me to wait a minute. I have to wait for them to dry my hair. We’re gonna go to a place that have a good customer service and better stylists.

I came in on 10/13 for a consult and then on 11/5 to get my hair done by Christina as discussed at the consultation. Unfortunately, I left the salon looking nowhere close to what I asked for or what was discussed. Per the photo I showed as an example, underneath was supposed to be a light, ashy color and the top of my hair was supposed to be dyed a darker brown. I now have 4 large sections of bleached hair, not blended, and the brown hair on top is my natural color. When I mentioned to Christina that I wanted the top darker as discussed, her response was that my hair was "dark enough"

Today was my first time there, the ambiance was relaxing and perfect specially with everything going on with the virus, very clean and everyone was friendly and cleaning every chance they could and every time someone moved. It was like being in a house by the beach the decor is adorable ! Christina did exactly what I told her to do and was a lovely woman and very professional definitely going back , loved everything about my day at Moda :)

Once again, Christina has worked her magic! I arrived for my color and was greeted with COVID precautions which made me feel safe - knowing that they were following all the regulations.
I asked Christina to brighten my color up a bit - I wanted to go a bit bolder! She not only gave me a beautiful rich auburn red but also highlighted me with brilliant golden highlights. She even took the time to do my brows despite the fact that I threw her off schedule with my new color request. This is an amazing salon! It's clean, edgy, and a pleasure to visit.

The quality and detail of the styling I have received at MODA has been wonderful! Jen truly listens and has a keen eye for just the exact color of highlights I need and I’m never disappointed! It always looks natural and never With artificial blotchy spots! Finally, a place where they are happy to make ME happy! A professional, warm and welcoming atmosphere with a modern flair! Went here about a weekish ago, really needed a hair cut, called around noon and they squeezed me in that day with jennifer im pretty sure. the parking is pretty hard not alot of spots but when i went in i was greeted i just felt like im home everyone i talked to was friendly, even though i was the only guy there when i went i didnt feel out of place. the wash, cut and rinse was really good really comfortable! and it was actually cheaper than what i normally pay for my haircuts. highly recommended if you can get an appointment.

Moda hair studio is a one of a kind. I have been getting my hair done there for so many years. Not only do I love love love my hair and how healthy it has become, but the staff are literally the sweetest people I know.. everyone is so talented and genuine and I just love them like family.... everyone should go “hair”..... I have been going to Moda Hair Studio for years and can honestly say that they are among the best. Good salon work is hard to find. I've lived around the world (NYC, Paris, Barcelona) and have paid exorbitant prices for mediocre work. I've been amazed at the haircuts and color I receive at Moda and all at reasonable prices! I even drive 40 minutes from my home because they are that good. I am regularly stopped on the street and asked where I got my haircut or color. You have to try them ... you won't be disappointed!

My family and I love Moda! Men's, women's and children's cuts, color and highlights, makeup, updos, prom styling, you name it, we've done it! For years, people have stopped my daughter to compliment her cute pixie cut! Jen is fabulous and is our regular stylist, and Kim does our makeup, but if our schedules don't work, we never hesitate to go to any other stylist. They're all great!

I have been going to Renee for cut and color for 6+, not only does she do just what I want every time, she’s also swift at highlights and punctual. I don’t miss the days of spending 3+ hours at a salon. I have never been disappointed. I also often drop in for shampoo and blow dry with whichever stylist is available. I appreciate that each one has their own technique in blow drying and love it. Plus, it’s well priced - 1/2 of a Fairfield county blow out. 🤗

Love Moda & Renee! I started going there after always admiring a friends hair and how well it was cut. She referred me to the owner, Renee, and I have NEVER been disappointed.
I honestly don't know how anyone would or could give this place, or their stylists, a bad rating. Friendly (everyone, right down to the receptionist), clean, nice atmosphere and always a fantastic cut that gets many compliments.
The only reason that I haven't gone lately is that I moved so far away (which is also why I'm in need of a cut, BADLY (I'm extremely picky when it comes to finding someone

I have been a going to Moda for quite a few years now and I love it! The stylists are all amazingly talented, professional, and up to date on the most recent styles, products, and techniques. Everyone at Moda is friendly, kind, and willing to go that extra step to make sure that your experience is amazing the first time or the millionth time you are there. I have never had anything less than an amazing cut for an extremely fair price, especially considering the amount of work and time that goes into every style. The ambiance (music most absolutely included!) is wonderful and a visit to Moda

Christina is amazing. I have been seeing her for several years now and every single time my hair comes out flawless. Blonde can be a tough color to master (my hair has a tendency to get brassy easily) and whether I do only highlights or highlight and low-lights my hair looks great. I have been to a few other stylists in the salon along the way and everyone was consistent and wonderful.

I needed to get my hair styled somewhere close to home because it was the day of my bridal shower and logistically it wouldn't work to go to my usual stylist. I chose Moda and ended up brushing it all out and doing it myself in the minutes I had to spare before my party. I asked for big, loose curls. I received super tight, crunchy curls. The stylist decided that the day of my bridal shower (she knew this was the reason why I had the appointment) was a great time to criticize my hair: "You really need a haircut. Your ends are dead. I don't know why Moda gets negative reviews here. I've been going here for a few years now because the price is 1/2 to 1/3 what I would pay at a salon in Fairfield, and yet they never mess up my hair -- it always looks consistent every time I visit. And once you've got the style and color you like, isn't that what you strive to find in a salon? A place to help you maintain it? I've had several stylists here, and all were excellent. They also offer you coffee or tea, and sometimes even cookies. You're always treated like you're a valued customer, and the atmosphere

After two visits and still not being happy with my hair I would like to leave no stars. First girl was extremely rude when I got off work early to return for a second time to have it fixed. She would not even listen to me as I tried to explain what I was looking for. She just laughed and told me what my hair was "suppose to look like."
