I am my families storyteller. I always knew I wanted to document children. As a small child I carried a camera around making the noise of the shutter with my voice. I was infatuated. I went out of district for high school so I could attend one with a photography program, I then attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara and obtained a BA in commercial advertising photography.

I started my own business right out of college, taking on clients while traveling, assisting and always working with kiddos on the side. I lived in New York for a year, assisting one of my favorite children's advertising photographers and nannying for 6 families just to get by. I moved to San Diego, and did much of the same.
