NYPT is a privately owned outpatient facility specializing in orthopedics with the emphasis on sports and post-surgical cases. We have been providing rehabilitative services to Valley Stream and its surrounding communities for the last 30 years.
It is our goal to deliver therapy services to our valued clients as conveniently as possible. That is why with DIRECT ACCESS, patients can now personally and directly receive physical therapy and get the necessary treatment without the hassle of getting a prescription from a physician. At New York Physical Therapy, our skilled therapists can evaluate and treat you without MD referral for 30 days or 10 visits.

The stafff at NYPT are fantastic.✨✨ Honestly they really work with you and aim for the goal of helping you heal and also providing the care you need to get you back on your daily living. I couldn’t ask for a better therapy location. My main therapist was Amanda and Christine and they are both great💯. Of course all of the other therapists and the aides that worked with me are also helpful as well. 🎊 This location definitely cares about you and they’re super professional. I am so grateful to the staff for their support during my healing process. I know that everything was done in a professional manner and all precautions were taken to ensure that all were kept safe.
