The Way Martial Arts
Fun and exciting martial arts classes that help teach confidence, discipline, fitness, and leadership. The Way Martial Arts has been serving the greater Indianapolis community since 2012. With two martial arts schools in Indianapolis and Plainfield we are helping equip students with the abilities to better themselves both through martial arts and life skills.

Our mission is to offer a WAY in which students can experience REAL community to learn martial arts, develop into strong leaders and impact the world. We are committed to continually enhancing our program to address exercise, technique, safety tips and a realistic approach to self-defense situations.

Fun and exciting martial arts classes that help teach confidence, discipline, fitness, and leadership. I started The Way Martial Arts because of the incredible and life-changing results I have seen in my own life. I simply would not be the person I am today without my training in martial arts and the confidence, leadership, discipline, and respect the martial arts has taught me.
Fun and exciting martial arts classes that help teach confidence, discipline, fitness, and leadership. Whether you have a rambunctious preschooler, a busy school-aged kid, a teenager with an attitude, or you are looking for a way to relieve work-related stress, we have a program for you! This fun and energetic program is for ages 6 - 9. Whether doing Martial Arts is your idea or your child's, we are here deliver for you both!
Have you noticed your child running around the house kicking and punching at all of your furniture? Are they running around fighting off mystical bad guys to save the day? If your preschooler is anything like mine, then they probably have quite the imagination. In our preschool classes at our Indianapolis martial arts school, we like to harness that playful, magical energy into fun games and gross motor developing activities.
If your kids are anything like some of the ones I know then they're struggling with a few factors. They probably talk to their friends from behind a device more than they do in person. They probably are sitting on your couch or in their room while texting, playing a game, updating their Instragram account, instead of being outside, moving around or visiting friends or family.
Fusion is a blend of the excitement of the Warrior Classes and the real deal self defense and conditioning of the Impact (Adult) Program. The program is lead with the knowledge that this age group has specific wants and needs that are unique to them. Though a lot has changed over the past several years, Mr. Brown himself began as a young teen.

Tried to get information about my son starting and different options available. The lady that called me asked a lot of intrusive questions about my son after I told her he was disabled. I was then told I would get a call back... its been about 3 weeks. No other comments.

My 4-year-old was terrified to go. It took him three times of watching before he went on the mat. The instructors’ patient, yet firm, guidance finally got him out there. I’m so glad that they did. Less than 2 months later and he says, “I love kwi kwon go even more than you” as we leave the studio. They help teach focus, agility, and confidence for our little leaders

3 months ago I decided to enroll my 8yr old son in karate. He really loves it and has graduated from white to yellow belt. I am so proud of him and everything that has been taught to him. Special thanks to the Martial Arts Team. Instructors are very great and professional. Excited to see what this year brings for him. I definitely recommend this school!!

We have been at The Way Martial Arts for just over 6 months. Watching my son grow in his confidence, listening skills and overall maturity has been a pleasure. We love the instructors - they each have their own way of dealing with the kids and are FANTASTIC to watch. Mr. Brown has created a space where I feel comfortable letting my son explore who he wants to become as a person - Strength, Respect and Leadership!

Mr. Brown and so many of the other instructors have been an integral part of helping my children to grow and develop great character over the last 6 years. They have the abilities of a martial artist (3rd degree and 2nd degree black belts) but the character is even more important. My oldest is now employed here and she loves the leadership aspects but also to be able to give back what has been given to her. We love The Way!

The Way Martial Arts is a super place for children and adults, ages 3 to 100 to come and learn about discipline, strength, respect, and physical fitness. With Mr. Brown's instruction, along with student helpers, they really make learning fun for everyone regardless of your skill level.
I have seen personally the difference that The Way has impacted the life of my family, through my son. He has taken classes since the summer and is often unfocused because of his ADHD. I worried this class would be too much for him but through it, he has gained so much! He's able to pay better attention because

Aside from the fun and energetic atmosphere that Mr. and Mrs. Brown have cultivated at The Way Martial Arts, the classes have also helped my children in the area of discipline, perseverance, and respect. The Browns have made a place for every kind of person, whether fit, out of shape, young, or old. They let you work at your level and only expect the best that you are able to give. Mr. Brown exhibits all of the excellent character qualities of a black belt and does so with great compassion. We love being in class with our children (who are much higher belt ranks than we are) and letting them teach

I have been taking classes from Mr. Brown at The Way for more than two years now and it has been a truly great experience. Jordan's teaching style is grounded in respect, discipline, fun, and plenty of cardio. My daughter has taken classes with me as well and it is a very family-friendly and supportive environment. I highly recommend The Way Martial Arts to anyone seeking their black belt, any belt, or a place to haves fun, sweat, and be active.

I took a self defense class @ The Way Martial Arts with Mr. Brown. The skills and confidence I gained from just ONE class was invaluable. Wish I lived closer so I could attend weekly! They do a great job with all ages, and maintain a clean and friendly environment.
