My experience also includes home construction, home remodeling, and rental maintenance, I have dissected and remodeled a number of older houses with the oldest built in 1896. I have intricate knowledge of older construction of framing, foundations, plumbing, and electrical.

Mike was great to work with. Arrived on time and finished on time.
As a woman I often find men talk down to me. Mike DID NOT do that. He would point something out, if I had follow up questions he took time to explain in a professional manner. Gold Stars!!
Post inspection we toured the house and he pointed out the repairs that needed to be done.
Most are minor repairs and can be done my a handy homeowner. He explained how the repairs can be done. Example, I need about 4 more inches of blown in insulation in the attic.
The more intricate repairs he would explain what needs to be done, so I know

The inspector refused to wear a mask during inspection of my home. This was done without my knowledge or consent- I only found out from my home security camera. He also allowed the potential buyer, spouse, and child, to accompany him, also unmasked. Home inspection took well over an hour. My house was very clean prior to inspection, yet I came home to filthy hand prints all over the walls, things moved that should not have been touched during a home inspection. Inspector never apologized when confronted, but was rude and stated he couldn't possibly inspect a house with a mask on as it "

Mike did a great job with our home inspection. We were really impressed with his willingness to answer questions not only for us but the buyers as well! It was really cool that he used a drone to inspect the roof and around the top of the house. He found things that we would have no way of knowing were there.

Very knowledgeable and detail orientated. Second home he is inspecting for me this weekend. I will only go through Mike Horvath for any home inspections. If you want a thorough inspection he is the man for that. Very down to earth and listens well. He walked me through everything once the inspection was completed the first one ,and explained everything for me to understand. My mother and I thought he was very professional and a gentleman!
