Captain Artistries

My name is Samantha Lee Captain. I draw inspiration from some of the great photographers, such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, who once said "The true portrait emphasizes neither the suave nor the grotesque, but reflects the true personality." This is what I aspire to do with every portrait, at every event.

I studied Fine Art Portraiture and Documentary photography at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, in Boston. I have worked as a freelance journalist covering events for Destination Imagination, The National Democratic Party, The National Maritime Historical Society, New Jersey's Maternal Child Health Organization and many others.
