Andy Seplow is a licensed acupuncturist, medical herbalist, and nutritionist who has worked in the health care field for nearly twenty years. He maintains a private practice in Berkeley, CA with a focus on treating pain, musculoskeletal, and digestive disorders. In addition, he is the Staff Acupuncturist and Nutritionist at the Claremont Hotel and Resort in Berkeley, CA.
He holds a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, California and a Masters Degree in Nutrition from Tufts University in Massachusetts. Andy was a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali, West Africa. He has also provided volunteer acupuncture training to traditional Tibetan doctors in Nepal.

I went to Andy because I was in a crisis. Pain was radiating out from my wrist. My fingers were numb and swollen. I had an RSI that felt impossibly debilitating. I could neither work (I'm a writer) nor could I cook, clean, or even pick up my cat. Andy approached the problem through various Chinese medicine techniques--some were quite painful--but he was always open and honest with me about what the process would be like.
