Vessey Funeral and Cremation Service opened in Fort Collins in July of 2007 to serve all of Northern Colorado with compassionate and caring service by co-owners Mike and Susie Reager and Steve and Debbie Vessey. Mike and Steve are both certified by the Colorado State Funeral Service Board with the most prestigious Mortuary Science Practitioner designation.
At Vessey Funeral Service, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.

I cannot recommend Vessey, and in particular, Elizabeth enough. She was a HUGE help in navigating a very sudden and difficult passing. In addition to being long distance the decisions to be made were difficult. She was very knowledgeable, and gave GREAT advice. She made a terrible situation that much more manageable.

When my father passed, we went through Vessey Funeral Services. During one of the most difficult times of my life Vessey provided such sanctuary in planning and preparing everything concerning his funeral and headstone. Sarah was very friendly and valued us and our opinion. She wanted what we wanted and there was no pressure and no hurry in any of the process. This was a very blessed facility and staff and I highly recommend for others. Thank you all for service to us. God bless you all!

There are no words to express how appreciative I am to Sarah she is amazing. What I went through with my brother was the most terrible thing. Sarah’s compassion for others really shows in her work I don’t know what I would have done without her! I am very great full to Vessey Funeral home I had the opportunity to meet the owner as well very soft nice kind man. Thank you with all my heart Sarah and Vessey for everything! Until my dying day, I will forever recommend Vessey Funeral Home. When I die, I wouldn't want anybody else to handle my affairs for my family and loved ones.
This was my first experience being personally in charge of things going on in a funeral. We were blindsided with my grandmothers death as we were hoping for a recovery and rehabilitation. A little over a week ago we received the most horrible news of our lives and were faced with planning a funeral for our 20 year old sister and sister in law. I tirelessly called numerous funeral homes To start the process of planning her funeral... I was unimpressed with every place I spoke with until I called Vessey Funeral Service... Suffering through the death of a loved one is hard. The burden was lessened by Vessey's kind and considerate care. Sarah was on the scene shortly after it happened. Her immediate support and guidance was heartfelt and very appreciated. Steve's arrangements and suggestions during our grief made decisions much easier to cope with. We will never forget the presence of Sarah at the service. Traveling all the way to Fort Logan, giving us guidance and consolation. This meant the world to us.
