The Carriage House was once home to the first Mayor of Englewood. Today The Woman's Club of Englewood carries on its traditions of service to the community. In order to have a gathering place, fund scholarships and carry on a variety of Philanthropical projects, they invite others to enjoy the unique space we have to offer.

Not be so racist! My sister called about booking the venue and scheduled an appointment for this past Saturday. A woman named Maria tried to convince my sister to NOT have her baby shower at the Carriage House. The woman Maria then told my sister and her fiancé to check out another venue before making her deposit. She told her to check it out and… get back in touch with her. Had an event planned for July 18 and canceled due to the pandemic in May. I was informed by Maria that I could only get my deposit refunded if WCE was still closed on the date of my event and it is. I have emailed and called maria to no avail. No response via email and rushed off the phone with details when I called. It's a mess! Let's be FAIR

A wonderful day at this beautiful and quaint place! What a great place to have an event! From the beginning, I set out to find a location for my baby shower that would allow me the flexibility to really make it my own. I didn't want just another cookie cutter event at a venue with the same old menu and decor. When I found the carriage house online and I had the opportunity to view their gallery of past events, I knew this was the place for me. Maria is amazing! She was such a great help from start to finish , she was knowledgeable of things we were not prepared for and kept my stress level down

We used the venue for an educational workshop and could not have been happier. The environment was conducive to both productivity and relaxation. Many attendees ate lunch on the lawn where tables were set up and classical music was playing. Maria assisted us through the entire event, from planning to implementation. We would definitely book WCE again!

Very charming venue, convenient parking, outdoor ceremony space, and indoor ballroom can be decorated sweetly. Overwhelmingly DIY, but very affordable. We were able to have a beautiful wedding with 50 guests for under $10k. Maria was helpful a few days prior and very helpful the day of, as the club steward, but sometimes pushed her own ideas a bit too strongly. Keep in mind, it's not hipster rustic chic, it is an actual old historic building. The lighting packages they offer do a wonderful job of making it look so romantic, perfect for a smaller wedding.

The Women's Club of Englewood Carriage House is amazing! Especially with the help of Maria, her husband, and the staff she hired, our wedding was perfection. We had both our ceremony and reception there and are so glad we did. Their treasure trove of stored items came very useful in helping us realize our wedding decorations dream. For a fall wedding in November the leaves were spectacular. Maria had so many brilliant ideas and suggestions for decoration, food, photos, and vendor suggestions.
