Dr. Michael Herringshaw graduated with dual degrees in Biology and Psychology from Michigan State University. He graduated with honors from the University of Detroit Dental School. He is a member of the ADA, MDA, AACD and also a former instructor of the University of Detroit. Dr. Herringshaw has received advanced training in occlusion, orthodontics and advanced cosmetic dentistry.
In order to preserve the best possible relationship with our patients, we hope that the following explanation of our position on dental insurance and financing will be helpful. The fees we charge for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual fees charged to all patients for similar services and are always in accordance with the usual customary fees of the particular carrier.

HIGH PRESSURE SALES - I had a bad tooth that should have been pulled but he was quick to do a root canal & crown. I have insurance and paid nearly $1600 out of pocket for a tooth that is now giving me pain and probably has to be pulled. Also billed for the crown before work was done which was why I had a $900 credit.

My husband and I have been with Dr. H's office for several years. We moved many miles away and decided to keep coming to him. He and his staff have always respected us, and had taken care of our emergencies promptly. Dr. H takes care of all dental needs in one place and in one visit. I want to thank the office for taking such great care of me. I needed a crown and a filling done and I was able to have everything done the same day with no second appointment which saved me time for other thing ms in my schedule. The doctor was so nice as well as the staff, plus I hate shots but I didn’t even feel it. I will be back and I’m I will be scheduling my kids.

Being here is amazing. I enjoy the staff and their vibrant personalities every time I arrive. There is virtually no wait time. They're ready for me whenever my appointment is. Aside from all that, they actually know my name and talk to me as if they've know me for a long time. They maintain a balance between personal and professionalism. It's truly a welcoming place.

I love this office! It has a welcoming atmosphere, and the best Detroit themed decor on every wall! You can get a crown made in a few hours, which is so cool! He seems to be really advanced with new technology and uses alot of equipment to make your visit as comfortable as possible. You can tell that Dr Herringshaw has been practicing dentistry for a very long time. Hes super professional and has a very calming demeanor. Great dentist! They're very good about keeping you comfortable during any procedure. A while back I just needed a few cavities filled and was very sensitive in the area he was working on. The staff went out of there way to make sure I felt zero pain while they were working, and after the fact were very good about re-checks & adjustments. Dr. H actually told me to come in on a Friday (normally closed) so he could re-adjust my teeth because "he didn't want a client to be in pain". Seriously a very good place!
