At Claremont Dental Institute we strive to provide state of the art dentistry. We have renovated our Claremont dentist office to be a comfortable, welcoming environment for all ages. Dr. Fountain has been a member of this community for over 30 years. He earned an associates degree as a Radiologic Technologist at Chaffey Community College and worked his way through school at San Antonio Community Hospital in Upland. Dr. Fountain graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a major in Biology in 2000 and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2004 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
Dr. Patel is part of a Southern California tradition of dental comfort and care. He is a 1979 graduate of Government Dental School, and has dedicated his career to providing you and your family with the best that dentistry has to offer. Dr. Patel is continually educating himself and his staff on the newest techniques and approaches, in order to serve you with advanced, state-of-the-art, comfortable, personalized and antiseptic dental care.
Dr. Pavlisin is dedicated to dental excellence and an ethical practice philosophy. The combination of her dental expertise and her gentle caring nature serves her patients well She has a passion for creating beautiful natural smiles with a healthy jaw joint foundation.
Dr. Pavlisin received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Illinois, and during 30 plus years of practice she has continually pursued highly advanced training at The Pankey Institute, Dawson and Piper centers for Advanced Dentistry and UCLA.Dr. Pavlisin has extensive training and experience in cosmetics, TMJ dysfunction, or jaw joint problems and diagnosis of Oral Facial Pain issues.

Dr. Wong is committed to providing the highest level of dental care to each of her patients. She received her Doctorate in Medicine (MD) from the Keck School of Medicine, and completed her residency in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at USC Medical Center. Prior to that, she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD with Great Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and the experience was actually not so bad. This was something I was dreading and holding off for quite a time. I've never had any type of surgery performed so I was so clueless in what to expect. My doctor was Dr. Wong and she is incredible! On the day of my appointment she came in and explained everything she was going to do and what I should expect. She welcomed all questions and concerns and truly took her time explaining everything. I can’t say enough of good things about this dentist office. Everyone is always so kind and welcoming. They work with your schedule and are always very polite and helpful. The Drs and all the hygienist are so gentle. My biggest fear is going to the dentist, but after I leave Claremont, I am very grateful at how great they take care of me and make me feel at ease. Thank you everyone at Claremont for making my dentist visits so relaxing and welcoming. I highly recommend this office, promise you won’t be disappointed.

As a first time patient and reluctant dentist goer, my experience here was great! I honestly avoided going to the dentist for quite some time because of the anxiety I get from thinking of all of the scraping sounds and pain I expect to have from all the tools touching my gums and teeth. I requested an appointment online and received a call the next day, Christina was great! When I arrived the front office staff were kind and welcoming. Dr. Durski is the best! He was extremely thorough with his examination and great at explaining treatment needed and why it's needed. I was in pain and he worked his magic to find me an endodontist to go to right away to get treatment. The staff and assistants are very friendly and helpful! Thank you for a great experience.

Can not express in words? How very different this dentistry office was! I have always found going to the dentist for ANYTHING a very nerve racking experience…but how wonderful to have an experience now? Where I’m not only not nervous to go again? I took my son in to be seen by Dr.Fountain. He came highly recommended by my Herbalist. Dr. Fountain answered all my questions and did not rush me. He was great with my son (2 years old). He was able to do a complete exam without my son loosing it. I am moving my whole family to Dr. Fountain. I feel so blessed to have found him and this office.

Let me start by saying I *hate* going to the dentist. I'm embarrassed to say I cry every time I go just because of the extreme anxiety. (I am a 40yo mom of 2.) I went to this dentist based on a co-worker's recommendation and tooth pain I had been dealing with for about 3 years.
My first appt was for x-rays and I had a great experience. The chair had massage and heat in it, and I was offered a blanket to make me comfortable. I was so afraid of the dentist due to a bad experience I had when I was younger. I can say this no longer applies. The office staff made me feel very welcomed from the first visit. My visit with Steve Fountain DDS was the best. He is one of the best dentist I’ve ever seen and trust me I’ve been to a bunch. I am so happy I found them. I have now found my forever dental office!!

I had a very high regard for this place until this afternoon. The few times Ive been there the experience was pleasant. This review is only because, the front office has the last say. Therefore here is my experience.
Due to a sudden workplace emergency I had to cancel my cleaning appointment as I knew I was not able to make it to the appointment the next evening. I am giving the CDI 24 hours notice. After looking at rescheduling options, nothing appeared until July 2021, I informed I will call back to reschedule.
The office informs me that there is a $50 cancelation fee even if I reschedule

I've been coming to this office for years! My kids and family that I referred. I had an appointment this morning called in because I am sick with strep throat and not feeling well. I figured with covid-19 they would want to reschedule when I am not in pain and contagious. The Receptionist insisted that it was fine to still come in and if not I will be charged $50 for cancellation...!!!! I will no longer be returning to this office.

First time coming here since my dentist couldn't work with my small mouth due to an autoimmune disease.
The staff and dentist I worked with were very helpful, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.
The office is beautiful with State of the Art equipment.
I had a crown done with oral sedation and it was a very positive experience. Seriously thinking of making this my go to dentist.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth out and I’m posting review on her behalf. “The technicians were very good. They are helpful and calm, making me feel more calm. They worked hard to make me comfortable. The doctor is also very good. She took time to make me feel relaxed and know what was going on at every step. It's a racket to bill you up and there is minimal compassion or sincerity. They don't tell you what your insurance won't cover.
My advice-- stop focusing on bleeding every person dry and spread good vibes and I assure you the money will flow!

Thank you CDI. The fear I have had all my life was changed when had my first appointment. That was several years ago. Know that C.D.I. has the massage chairs and TV if you're interested. I have had some serious dental work done over the years, and I can say that C.D.I. is the best dental office in CA.
The doctors and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. I no longer have anxiety when it's time for my six month appointment, I look forward to it. Yesterday I had some work done, and was taken care of by Reyna, Drs. assistant. Thank you Reyna.

The staff here has been very friendly and accommodating! Between the latest technology in dental work, they have many ways of making your visit as relaxing as possible. I had a root canal performed where they placed me in a massage chair, put on netflix and gave me a blanket !! I was happy to hear they offer zirconia as alternative to porcelain when reviewing my work needed. The fillings ive had done and the inital cleaning were painless and very gentle. I have a few more procedures planned in the future and im actually excited to go back and get my work done! This is a huge step from being sweaty

Wonderful experience and beautiful, slightly upgraded teeth! All of the staff is super friendly and knowledgable. Dr. Vijay Patel was able to correct a cosmetic issue that had been bothering my teen. He took a lot of care to make sure she would be happy with the outcome and she is thrilled. Her teeth look beautiful and she is full of smiles. Thanks CDI!

My 8-year-old son had a cracked molar and needed a baby root canal. He has never had any fillings or root canals before, so I was extremely nervous for him and unsure as to how he would do! Dr. Fountain was awesome! He and his staff made my son feel so at ease - he didn't even need nitrous oxide. The procedure was quick and my son had no issues! He even asked Dr. Fountain when he would be giving him the shot, not knowing he had already given it to him! :) That's how painless it was! As a new patient at Claremont Dental Institute, I just want to say thank you for the wonderful hospitality. The front office staff were very warm and welcoming. They reviewed my insurance coverage and were very open about what my insurance covered and if I would have to pick up any additional cost. She uses my name, which I've obviously tried to conceal - I blocked out my name and address on the photo of their threatening collections letter for a reason. This shows that they really don't care about or respect their patients, as she clearly chose to find me and reveal it here unnecessarily. What kind of dental office does that?? So unprofessional.
