Services
Cassie is "mommy" to Maddox, Ellie, and bulldog Abbie and married to her husband, Derek. She graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2006 with Bachelor Degrees in Business Management and Public Relations. She has her Master's in Childhood Education from William Paterson University. She has always been her family's designated photographer but took her hobby and turned it into a passionate career in 2015 after the birth of her son.
Session fees include consults, the photographer's time and talent, prop usage, and the time and prep for your gallery reveal. Session fees are required for booking all full sessions. Prints, products, and digital images are additional and can be purchased a la carte or in collections. See our available products below.
Maternity sessions are a perfect way to capture that moment in a mother's life before everything changes. Maternity photography sessions are best done between 28-36 weeks when the belly is nice and round and you are still relatively comfortable. Maternity photography sessions can be done in studio, outdoors or a combination of both.
FRESH 48 sessions are the ideal way to document the very beginning of life with your newborn. These unique sessions take place in the hospital during the first 48 hours after your baby is born and capture the essence of your baby's first precious hours, including first introductions to siblings and family, feedings, diaper changes and quiet time with mom and dad.
Babies are perfect as they are. Simple, pure and completely authentic in their newest form. Our intentions are to capture these qualities in every baby and we are dedicated to making the newborn experience an unforgettable one. While we keep setups classic and timeless our studio is fully stocked with beautiful textured fabrics, one of a kind props and timeless accessories like outfits, hats, headbands and wraps.

We just moved to New Jersey and needed to find a new photographer to capture our family photos. We are thrilled to have found Giella Barbara photography! We booked the one year cake smash session for our daughter with very little notice and they were able to execute it flawlessly. Tara was super helpful in coordinating the day of the event and facilitated the planning of our session. On the day of the session our daughter was very tired and I was worried she wouldn’t be up for taking photos. Somehow they were able to get her to smile and the photos came out amazing! Renee is incredibly talented

This was our third time working with Giella Barbara Photography for our milestone photos. The quality of both the experience, as well as, the photos are second to none. When we chose not do a traditional cake smash for our daughters, GBP made sure the sets were exactly what we were looking for. The extensive wardrobe selection was the perfect compliment to the sets selected. Renee and Tara made the session truly effortless, and the pictures are everything we hoped for. As a first time mom, I was very nervous for my son's newborn shoot because I wanted it to be perfect. Tara was always available via email for any of my questions! My wife and I did a newborn photoshoot and had an excellent experience. For the entire length of the photoshoot, Tara & Renee took complete care of our baby, which was an amazing break for new Dad & Mom. They worked with us and our baby to get the shots that we wanted and keep our baby happy & relaxed. The studio is beautiful and has a great lounge for parents. They are extremely professional and easy to work with; would highly recommend.

What an amazing overall experience! The team is so welcoming, comforting, responsive, and genuine! Prior to our session the team took the time to get to know us to best understand what we wanted for our photos! When we arrived in the gorgeous studio they were on point and so prepared! My family decided to book our maternity session and newborn session with Giella Barbara Photography to capture my second pregnancy and the memories of my son becoming a big brother. Tara was very professional and helpful when we spoke about my expectations and ideas prior to our appointment day. When we arrived we met Cassie who photographed our session. She was patient and so great with our 3 year old. If you have a young child, their studio is amazing. Having a separate area to occupy a toddler is extremely helpful. I just had my maternity session and am planning my newborn session with Giella Barbara Photography and have had a great experience so far! Their coordinator, Tara, helped me through the whole planning and scheduling process and Renee took our maternity/family photos and was great to work with! She is a mom herself and very good with my son and us - very patient and kind and kept it light and fun. We got our gallery in a very timely manner and love all the photos.
