Phil Giordano graduated with a BS in Pharmacy from Long Island University in 1984. He has experience in Retail Pharmacy, with 15 years experience as a consultant and operations manager in the Long-term care/ Geriatric industry. He was Vice President of Product Management and Clinical Services for 3 years for Proxymed, an Information Technology firm in southern Fl.

My vet recommended skips for my dogs medications- a screw up from the beginning and after I renewed the prescription , my vet took him off of it one day later and suggested I see if they would give me a refund. I had to leave a message for their billing department to which I never received a response. I'm addition, they got the name wrong and, after asking for it to be corrected, it never was! In addition, front desk was not someone I will EVER deal with again. Bad bad bad customer service

I use high dose Biotin for my Multiple Sclerosis. The company I used to get it from no longer makes it so I began a search and found Skips. The price is good, quality excellent and delivery super fast. I am placing my second order today.

No one answers the phone. Hold times are 30 minutes or more - what is the point in using a pharmacy that is unavailable at all times to consult about the medications they give out? HORRIBLE - DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY

Trying to speak to someone in person is nearly impossible. Hold times are ridiculous. Will look into other compounding pharmacies, even if it means having to spend more money.

Our beautiful cat Henry had become (18 yrs old) very ill about a month ago and we were afraid it was his time to go over the bridge. Dr. Cherry Douglas tested his thyroid and determined he has hypothyroidism. She recommended Compounded methimazole for him. He is a changed cat. Just had blood work and need to tweek it up a bit. Thank you SKIPS for making this med for him. I am a pharmacy tech and really appreciate the meticulous work you guys do.

This was gonna be my second month to get a prescription here, the first time i went to pick up and they made the wrong medication, so i had to go back the next day, so yesterday a lady called me and told me my 2nd prescription would be ready to pick up at 4 pm, so i went today and they said it wasent ready, i let them listen to the message she left, then they said they called back and said it would not be ready, they did NOT call me Twice, there LIARS, !!!! I sat and waited 45 minutes for them to make my medication, which is unacceptable at this point, so i asked the manager if hes gonna do anything

I'm genuinely saddened by the negative reviews here. I've been getting a compounded med from Skip's since early 2010 and have had nothing but excellent service. One pharmacist (Brooke, I think) has answered my litany of questions on at least two occasions when I was starting a new med. They've even gone out of their way to intercede for me when I was getting *nowhere* through conventional routes. I had the unexpected surprise of speaking with Skip himself on two occasions ~ *extremely* funny guy who explained the mode of operation for a med in a way that was illustrative

This has been the absolute WORST experience for me. A prescription was called in 3 times over the past week and as of today I still don't have a solid answer as to whether they processed the order or not. I have called 5 times, one time the rep found the RX and took my payment information (after giving me the wrong information about the prescription mind you) and then I receive a call a day later stating they just received my RX. It makes no sense, I am getting the complete run around and have left countless messages. This place is a joke and I have asked my vet to call in the RX elsewhere

This has been the worst experience and I just transferred my dog's prescription to a more expensive pharmacy and am happy about paying more money so I don't have to deal with this inept service. Original order was called in by my vet and everything was fine. 1st refill was sent to some strange address I never provided - I was 2+ weeks without the meds. 2nd refill I had to call multiple times, they said they never got online refill request, and then never called me when prescription was filled, even though I was told over the phone they would. The comments in other reviews about their customer service is spot on. I use this pharmacy because my doctor prescribes a very specific Rx that Skips fills well. Otherwise I would not use this pharmacy. Calling them is a royal pain in the rear. They are rude to talk with on the phone. I'm sorry I have to use this business. Two stars instead of one star because they are actually able to (occasionally) fill my unique Rx correctly.

I would give no stars, but that wasn't an option! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was asked to send a script in for filling. I get a message at......wait for it.......4:58pm to call back there is a problem with the script and they need more information. Um......yeah, they close at 5:00pm......strike one!! Next, I call three THREE TIMES, places on god for 10 min, then 7 min, and then 13 min. The lady told me " NO DECISIONS CAN BE MADE WITHOUT THE OWNERS CONSENT". Yelp won't let 1/2 rating on, so I went to the 5. Otherwise I'd give Skip's 4.5. The product and the service are both very good, however the refill system is a bit low tech & therefore cumbersome. I have noticed one female employee that tends to deal w/ refills as not optimal, but all in all, she's doing an ok job. I've been getting my LDN from them since October 2012, and they have exceeded my expectations every time but once. I wish I could give them a NEGATIVE STAR!!!! It appears the compound pharmacist royally screwed up my prescription prescribing testosterone 15 mg instead of 1.5 mg causing my numbers to exceed over 2,000! Guess you know who I won't putting my life in there hands again. Customer Service definitely needs improvement.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I called for a refill, spoke to someone, and a week later it still hadn't arrived. I followed up and they had no history of the request. No problem, they would resend it out right away, I spoke with "Skip" as well as the manager. At this point I was out of the medication completely and Skip personally assured me the RX would be shipped the very next day and that I wouldn't have any medical issues coming off so suddenly. Medication never arrived, its been weeks now. They won't take my calls. I had to stop the medication completely

I have just started using them , Customer service is great and Pharmacist's are happy to answer any questions when ever you need them too. I get my LDN from Skip's best price around, Im in Illinois.

Customer service is lousy, reordering rx's is not as easy as it should be. It takes 2-days to get a prescription filled. They have bankers hours so if you need something on the weekend or can not get there 9-5 m-f, you are out of luck. Their checking out system was down 3 out of 5 times.

I've been using Skips compounding pharmacy for well over two years, I use a treatment for my chronic fatigue syndrome and my fibromyalgia called low dose naltrexone Otherwise known as LDN. Skips Pharmacy is definitely a pioneer compounding LDN I wouldn't go anywhere else. I live clean across the United States in California but I still have Skips Pharmacy mail me my LDN prescription three times year To save money on shipping I Get a 90 day supply from my doctors Prescription. I want to start by saying that I will continue to use this pharmacy, because the ldn is supposed to be the purest and highest quality. I believe Skip is working very hard and cares about patients. I have no issue with quality. The one complaint I have is on phone customer service. During phone calls, they don't have that personal touch. I think if a little mindfulness was used and caution when talking to patients, etc., I would have rated 4 or 5 stars. I hope to use this pharmacy for years to come. I have one thing to say to you if you are a patient that uses it. Get a script in hand
