It is our philosophy at Carpenter's Kids and South Haven Baptist Church that each child is uniquely made with special strengths, interests and learning styles. As Jesus loves and values the uniqueness of each child, we at Carpenter's Kids and South Haven Baptist Church believe it is our ministry to do the same.
We have an average of 18 classes with low class sizes to keep the focus on each and every child. Realizing that each child is uniquely made, C.K. Kindergarten uses a thematic approach and creates learning centers that encourage problem solving and critical thinking. Children are given the chance to explore and express themselves across different academic disciplines, through various mediums, and at individual skill levels.
This year will be my 19th year at Carpenter's Kids. I taught pre-k for nine years before accepting the Director position. My favorite moments of my job are getting to know the children; listening to their stories and watching them play and grow. I am married with 2 children, Hunter & Shelby. I enjoy reading, hiking & spending time at the lake.
