Services
At Darlington Cremation and Burial Service, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends.
Public viewing at 12:30pm and Service will be at 1pm followed by a feed at New Life Center (1400 Airport Rd, Kalispell, MT 59901) at 4pm. During the feed you will be able to get up and tell stories/ memories you have of. Darlington Cremation and Burial Service is caring for Steven and his family. A memorial service honoring Steven will be held on.
We strongly support and encourage making preparations and planning in advance for all of life's events. When it comes to your final arrangements, you should make the decisions. The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Planning your own services in advance will help to ease the burden of your loved ones.
I am a U.S. Army Veteran. Serving our country has had a profound influence in my life. This service and the resulting fellowship has been a source of joy and comfort for me over the years. I had the privilege of serving as a 91D Operating Room Specialist and worked at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Fort Drum, New York and for several years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the grave of any deceased eligible veteran in a cemetery. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

Our mother passed away unexpectedly due to Covid. I can not express enough how wonderful they were to work with. They had answers for all our questions. The staff navigated us through a tough time, and I would not have picked any other place. They were all compassionate and attentive. I am the PR for the estate and do not live in the valley. They helped me get everything figured out in a timely matter so that our family could start to take the first steps forward. We can not express enough kind words for the professional, knowledgeable and caring experience we had.

No one knows just what to expect when one has to rely on the services of a stranger, but Lee and Amber Darlington are the kind of people with whom I felt an instant connection. They are the very epitome of Christian service and made the passing of my sweetheart more bearable by their help. When my Mom passed away I really was at a loss on what to do. I will be forever grateful to Lee and Amber Darlington! They walked me through every step with such wonderful guidance with care and compassion! I cannot truly express how amazing these people are! My whole family commented on what a beautiful service and tribute it was to my mother as we laid her to rest. I was only able to do this because of these people leading me! We can not say enough about how compassionate, caring, and dedicated they are at Darlington.... They picked up my mother from another location at 5pm on a Friday which was also the start of a long holiday weekend... They were always available for us no matter what... They took the time and walked through all the steps for my mother at their location and for all her other needs that were needed to be taken care of... Lee was, not only kind, and comforting, but so very helpful with the practical end of things. Losing a loved one can be so surreal... We truly wish that more than 5 stars could be chosen!!!!! Lee was amazing helping us with all the complicated aspects of our "delicate" situation, as our Dad passed away while on vacation in Kalispell. He treated our family with the utmost care ,compassion and respect. His time and extra effort will never be forgotten. We safely got Dad back home to Canada and we truly have Lee and his staff to thank for this.
