Terrible service. People are sketchy right when you walk in. They will tell you anything on the phone just for you to come in. And in person they have workers that don't even know what they are doing. Wasting your time.
Esperanza, Julio, and the finance guy Moises made this one of the most terrible car buying experience ever. By the end I felt like they were trying to screw me over so bad that I ended up cancel my contract at the last minute.
I went to DCH Toyota and got a way better deal than I would've at Downtown Toyota.

If you like scheduling appointments for service but not actually getting the service… this is your Toyota dealership… 2nd day in a row wasting my time…. If you’re understaffed, say that when booking the appointment. I’d rather walk than stay with Toyota at this point….

I brought in my vehicle in regarding a seat that no longer fold. Latch is not broken part has failed. The Sienna is brand new with less than 5k miles. I have never left a bad review, this is my first. I had an appointment, explained my concern when I made the appointment. Service advisor Jonathan was pretty rude. I was advised to leave the car for the weekend although they had 10 vehicles available and no rental will be provided. Last time I checked, warranty issues you keep the car your provide a rental. I suggested to bring car next week, again he said rental would not be covered although vehicle

Ricardo Rodriguez was a great sales man. He was knowledgeable and respectful. I didn't feel pressured or handled. He got me in and out relatively quick. I told him the options I wanted and he was able to help me get them for a great price and he was very accommodating. Or should i say what I felt was a good price. I just bought my Toyota RAV4 with Alejandro. His service was excellent, very attentive.The rav4 I got was one of the last ones left in the lot, and we know how high in demand those are. Prior to coming in to Toyota downtown I had been to a few different other Toyotas, and wasn't quite getting the numbers that worked for me. I took my car in for a routine service let alone I just renewed a six months maintenance contract for $400 which is only three visits . I was unhappy with the service that was provided my car was left with plastic inside and A plastic head cap. To top it off they took all my coins and left mostly only pennies. They can have the change but the fact that my property was stolen is A BIG ISSUE. Toyota of downtown LA managers needs to fix that issue to comply with there costumer satisfaction motto.

Absolute thieves. Call them what they are. Learn from my mistakes and don’t get service from these thieves. The bad experience started from the first time I called them. As soon as they got a hold of my number, they started harassing me at work with terrible offers to buy my car. They texted and called me. Before going to them, I had already run the diagnostics and knew the exact issue was the car detected a loose gas cap. It wasn’t until I got there and was trapped in that they told me they would charge me $170 if I refused their service. Then they said it would be a 3 hour wait. I should

Joao Kim is very professional, he's helped me at about every one of my services so far. If your in his hands your just fine. He answers questions quickly and they make everything super simple and easy. I'm not taking my Toyota anywhere else it just doesn't make sense to save a buck or two when you can get the service your Toyota actually needs.

When I first talked to the sales representative on the phone, they said that it was a model without dealership markup, but in the actual transaction, it marked up $2,000.00, so I was very disappointed in the lack of honesty.
I bought a Toyota car for the first time, but as a consumer had little choice as the supply of vehicles was not smooth, and I realized that the attitude of treating customers in such a way that if you want to buy, otherwise don't buy is not enough as the world's best car maker.

Listen, I know these places are just in it to make profit. Toyota of Downtown LA is in a centralized location and no number of bad reviews are going to make a dent in their flow of traffic. In buying a car for medical school, I talked to a bunch of Toyota dealers in the LA area (Santa Monica, Culver City, Downtown, and Hollywood) and found that Downtown was by far the best to work with.
