Hands on Physical Therapy of Babylon and Massapequa are conveniently located in Nassau County and Suffolk County of Long Island. We specialize in the treatment of chronic pain conditions including low back pain, neck pain, fibromyalgia, headaches, and TMJ. We primarily use a technique known as myofascial release (MFR).
MFR has been effective for many conditions, even after traditional physical therapy, medication, or surgery have failed to produce the desired results. I am a primary care physician in the area and have always heard good things from patients about Hands On Physical Therapy. When I started having pains myself, I decided to give them a try.

Hands on Physical Therapy rocks!!! I suffer from chronic TMJ and neck pain and was told to seek out myofascial release therapy. I couldn't believe that they accept insurance as payment for myofascial release, as it is usually paid out of pocket. I drive from Queens to Massapequa because the treatment is so worth it. I finally have some relief from my pain and I found it also to be extremely effective for my anxiety as well. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and their expert level training shows in the treatment. Also, the receptionist Regina is the sweetest lady and everyone makes you feel very

I have never found a more safer space for healing than I have at Hands on Physical Therapy. The environment that Paul creates from his genuine energy to the presence of the entire wonderful staff is something you really cannot find easily these days. Paul is a phenomenal therapist. He is intuitive and highly skilled at this healing art. He is beyond humble and beyond a level of human grace and compassion to even put in words. There is no one else I trust more than Paul and his staff. I send every friend or family member I know to him because I have complete trust in him and his care. He has helped

I was going to Paul Arena at Hands on Physical Therapy. I have fibromyalgia and had pain from the treatment. He insisted what he does is good for fibromyalgia and that it's what I need. He didn't understand my symptom flares.
PS Paul knows who I am and we have spoken about these issues. He is very reactive. His reply to my review is odd to say the least.
PS2. A few hours after I wrote this review, a new positive review was added with fibromyalgia mentioned. Seriously?

In my opinion these physical therapists are not good. They judged my doctor’s diagnosis and my pain and my suffering. My pain got worse the longer I went to them. The owner recited strange lines at me like something he read in a book. These things were offensive and he would not listen to my response essentially telling me to shut up. I found another physical therapist for pain relief. I do not recommend going here.
*I see that another review was posted within hours of mine after the owner replied to mine, interesting.

My experience at Hands on Physical Therapy has given me my life back! After years of hitting the same wall of frustration with many doctors and chiropractors all running me and my exhausted body in circles, I read about Fascia. Everything I read seemed to describe my chronic pains and finally I felt some hope that there was a solution that didn't include a life time of medications and continued pains. I saw an ad for Hands on Physical Therapy and how they address pains and immobility with Myo Fascial Release and other Physical therapy techniques. I decided to give it a try. I was desperate. What

Ok - only been once but i LOVE the office staff as well as the PT. I had a bad experience with a different PT in NYC and Paul is just a dream! it didnt hurt at all! they have spa music playing, i was uber relaxed AND i walked away feeling better! if you've experienced those painful PT's before, to the point where you cant move when you leave - then you need to try these guys! loved the experience.
