I ordered flowers for Mother's Day. The entire experience was incredible from the phone call to place the order where they were lovely, to the flowers themselves that arrived on time and in perfect condition.

Their customer service and quality has gone down. I ordered a floral arrangement on a Friday for delivery on Tuesday for bosses day and let the person placing the order know which arrangement I wanted. The flowers didn't get to my boss until 3:3 in the afternoon, every time we called we couldn't get a straight answer as far as an eta. When I called to complain about how the flowers looked nothing like the arrangement I placed an order for one of the ladies wanted to argue with me. They finally offered to send another arrangement of my choice so I chose something in the same price range

I just want to acknowledge Mr. Darryl from this flower shop. Yesterday(4/23/2018) I stopped by to pick up some roses for my wife to just surprise her. It was no special occasion or anything like that. I get off of work at 6:00 p.m. Well, I called the flower shop to see what time they closed and Mr. Darryl told me they close at 6 and also told me that he'd stay open for me till I got there. So I got there and there he was. I tried to order flowers for my girlfriend through Blackshear Florist last year. When my girlfriend hadn't received the flowers by mid afternoon on Valentine's day I called the florist. I was informed that they were not going to deliver to downtown this year. I will never use this florist again, and I hope I can save someone else from doing the same.

I don't recommend this florist. Obviously they are way to busy for more business. I called today to order flowers for my best friend which works at the local middle school. I called to see if it was to late to have flowers delivered today. She ask me what I was looking for. I told her, well her favorite color is purple. I grew up in North Shore and remember fondly of Blackshear's making our homecoming mums and prom and dance corsages.
When I wanted to get some flowers delivered in the area, I immediately thought of them. I called and spoke with Angel who was so personable and sweet on the phone. She got everything set up quick and easy over the phone.
I'd ordered the flowers around 12:30ish and they were promptly delivered around 3pm. It was a nice spring mix arrangement but nothing to exciting. The customer service that Angel gave along with the prompt delivery is definitely the big winner here.

I called late in the day before I absolutely needed flowers delivered for my Mom's Birthday, only on the basis I mapped this location was close to her work. The employee who answered the phone was kind and knowledgeable both about the selection of flowers they had (which were a lot) and delivery estimation.
End result the flowers arrived right at the time she said they would, and apparently looked just like I had been promised! I will definitely call on Blackshear's for all my Houston flower needs.
