Image Auto Body Inc. was established in 1993 and was founded by Philipp Weaver Sr. Philipp who had a vision and dream to own an auto collision shop started in the early 1980's. Born and raised in the Philippines he first came to the country after serving in the Vietnam War as a U.S. Marine, then finishing his term in 1970 later migrating to the bay area.
There he met and married Elizabeth and they had three sons Michael, Phillip Jr., and Clifford. He first started in the auto repair business working with Fil-Am Auto Body in the late 1970's which was owned and operated by family relatives. This shop was the first Filipino owned repair facility in the bay area.

Image auto body aims to service our clients by being that one stop shop. Ours services include auto collision repairs, walk in cash repairs, custom car restoration, auto mechanical maintenance, mechanical repairs, and commercial fleet collision repairs. We are capable of catering to all insurance companies available today.

All spray applications (including primer, basecoat and, clearcoat applications) are performed in a spray booth or ventilated and enclosed prep station which minimizes painter and other worker exposures to solvents and other harmful components of paints and coatings during spray applications at all times.

At Image Auto Body we've been in the Fleet collison and maintenance for more than 26 ongoing years. We are capable of doing full frame straightening, panel replacement, aluminum repair and welding, mechanical service, to all makes: Freightliner, Utili Master, Grumman, Isuzu, Ford, Chevy, GM, Dodge, and Mercedes trucks.
Being a one-stop shop we offer our clients full mechanical service and maintenance. All work performed at Image Auto Body are done by ASE certified technicians. Our technicians are trained and certified to work on all makes and models today. We offer maintenance work on all makes, foreign, domestic, European and hybrid vehicles.
Image Auto Body is committed to making your collision repair experience a positive and pleasant experience. While it's not easy to turn an auto collision accident into a memorable experience, our staff members will try to make it as pleasant as possible. We had our limousine vandalized and along with the side mirror being hit. We found Image auto body and gave them a shot. We've had previous experiences with body shops for our limo so we were hesitant. Image is now our go to shop. Not only was the limo done with such professionalism, it looked better than we had it. Excellent service from Phil and his team. We only had to call once and all our questions were answered, even some we had not think to ask. Great team, very courteous. You get a good feeling from just speaking to them. I can vouch, you will be in good hands!

FANTASTIC. Brought my 2003 minivan in. Rough was a mess. They made it look great. I've gotten. So many compliments on the great detailed work. Phil and his crew were great. Professional , well priced , friendly, and attention to detail was impeccable. Highly recommend them being your first choice.

Very friendly staff and reasonable prices; most of all, the body works are marvelous!!! They will also give you recommendations and referral to trusted mechanics with discounted authentic parts so that you don't need to worry about being ripped off!!! Sorry to say that as a woman, I still get cheated when going to mechanics; once some a*hole in SOMA SF took my $2000 without doing anything to fix my car!!! I feel blessed now that I've found Image Body Shop. I can trust them to take care of my car and me when I need it.

I'm very excited about getting my car fixed by these guys. I have a 1966 Mustang convertible that is in desperate need of restoring, these are the guys that I'm going to trust with my treasure. They tell me that they have other Mustangs and they know these cars very well. My car has been sitting since roughly 1979 it needs the body to be gone over from front to back top to bottom. I can't wait for this project to start I know it's gonna be a while but I believe that these guys will be very reasonable and do a fantastic job.

I known Phill, for about 14 years and he’s always held his professionalism and craftsmanship to the highest standard at every turn he takes with his business. He’s been in the game for many years and packs lots of experience. Of all the body shops we've taken our vehicles to, this shop is by far the best. They have great customer service and the owner did a wonderful job communicating everything we needed to know in terms of the cost, the amount of time it will take to repair our vehicles, and dealing with the insurance. The mechanics also came out and explained what's needed and fixed other minor problems with our vehicles for no additional cost.
The owner made us feel very comfortable and gave us assurance. They have helped reduce the stress of having to deal with insurance companies.

I'd like to say thanks to Buddy for tinting 2 of my cars and re-doing them both when I noticed tiny lint particles. He did not make an excuse or question me when I brought in both of my cars to get redone. He is very easy to talk to, super friendly and allows me to take my dog in with me! Thanks for the great customer service Buddy!
